Can we talk about how worried Zoro was about Nami's health? DO WE WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT?

Zoro is a stoic character who tries not to show his vulnerable side — I love how this contrasts with Sanji. He tries to hide his concern, but he can't help drinking while Luffy and Sanji climb, complaining that he should be with them instead of the cook, and his anxiety is so obvious that it makes Usopp nervous. After Usopp scolds him, Zoro decides to keep himself busy so he doesn't think about Nami. And no, you can't tell me that I'm misinterpreting things because Zoro's concern was directed at Nami.

The fact that, after the battle against Wapol's guards, the first thing he asks when he arrives at the castle with Usopp and Kureha is "Where's Nami?" confirms it.

And, in keeping with Zoro's personality, the way he asks that question is perfect! He doesn't ask what happened to Nami or how she is, he asks where she is, because that's the safest way to avoid showing vulnerability in the face of the possibility that she might be dead.

I love how, immediately afterwards, he pretends nothing happened and looks away. ZORO, I KNOW YOU.

I'm shocked that a lot of One Piece fans or not a fan noticed this. And it seems like it's now famous in Japan? Wow! hahaha! What a surprise! I do see some chemistry between them. But, I believe it's more about the characters they are portraying.

Ever since the first encounter in the anime, my shipping heart just sailed. I saw a very good chemistry between them. But it takes a good actor/actress to get this. So it was a good pick.

I think it's good that Oda has that rule in the live-action. He knows there will be something wrong when it happens. However, I believe he also has that rule in his manga and anime. But we really never know. Remember, he breaks his rule with Chopper being a mascot.

Steven Maeda also said that they scoured and used the manga's SBS for the characters (yes, it's canon that Nami chooses Zoro's clothes).

I'm just glad that OPLA remained as faithful to the original material as possible which brings out how great Zoro & Nami's chemistry is.
