She relished in having control and dominance over everything and when she felt like she wasn’t in control over herself and felt like some red thing was possessing her that eventually became her downfall when she was actively trying to get caught by the authorities.

Tina is kind of an interesting character for me. I'd imagine that since she's the only survivor of Mona's killings, she'd get a ton of press. News outlets, interviews, etc. Her veiled appearance is based on Mary Jo's from Nope. (10/10 film btw). She only wears the veil when she has a press appearance. After Witness, she became extremely paranoid. With her losing her boyfriend, sister, and her limbs in one night, who wouldn't be? The police weren't much help either. They were too 'busy' with the case to even try to protect her.

And after Hell, she was just tired. She now lost her sight, her hearing and her mother. She was just a walking corpse at the point. She could no longer see the sky, she could no longer hear her favorite sitcoms on cable TV, and she is forever reminded of the events that took everything from her.
