Today 19 years ago, Rachel Corrie put her life on the line by standing alongside her Palestinian siblings and sister-activists and practicing non-violent civil disobedience in the face the Israeli apartheid regime.

Ancestor Corrie is not a martyr. She was and still is an example of what decolonizing whiteness looks like. Whether you place yourself in the pathway to defend land sovereignty, attend school board meetings to hold space alongside parents and organizers of color, help organize food/resource drives to help houseless people in your community, or carpool neighbors to the polls during midterms, we ALL have a responsibility to disrupt and upRoot injustice at home and around the world.
