Georgia had spent most of the day in the car which was very unlike her as most of the time she spent all her time in the studio, but today she had the day off work and because Georgia wasn’t the kind of person to have people do everything for her just because she was a famous model, days off were often spent catching up with the stuff that needed doing. She was just on her way home when her car started making a funny sound, the sound only got worse and then the car kept stopping meaning she had to start it again, each time it got harder and harder, but she was only minute or two away from a garage so she made a quick call then started up her car again hoping it would make it. Georgia wasn’t someone who like to bother people unless she had to, and she didn’t often use her fame for her own personal gain, and when she did she tended to have a real reason for it.
When she, at last, arrived at the garage the car died completely, getting out Georgia was grateful that the car made it that far. Looking at the man she smiled looking at him as she looked around quickly, she could tell that everyone had gone home or that the guy ran this place on his own. “Hey there is something wrong with my car, it started off making funny noises, then it kept stopping, I managed to get it here but now it’s died on me completely.” She replied smiling as she looked at him.
“Funny noises?” He repeated, already going through his mind what could have caused said problems. "I'll take a look at it, could you give me the keys?" After all, it made the most sense to first found out what kind of noises the car made and then where they could be coming from. Luckily, the technology was mostly identical for many vehicles, so he figured he could definitely fix it. And while Ezra continued to wonder how he‘d repair it before the night was over, he suddenly looked back at her. "You're pretty famous, right?" A question that left his lips so spontaneously and fast, that he suddenly had to laugh softly at himself.
"Sorry, didn’t mean to be rude. But my boss freaked out when she heard you’d come to our shop." Especially since it wasn’t some kind of chauffeur who had brought her car over. And strangely, his boss had disappeared since Georgia had arrived. He silently walked over to the car and checked what model it was. They usually carried all the spare parts they needed in stock and he guessed that it wouldn’t be any different this time. He also hoped that it wouldn’t take too long because – no matter how much he loved his work – he knew that many customers despised waiting. Speaking of customers. "Coffee?" He asked, almost nonchalantly, with a rather grumpy expression. It was the power of a habit and probably also due to the fact that rarely any famous people got lost in this workshop. Besides, he could barely deny how tired he was. Nevertheless he quickly cleared his throat.
"I mean, would you like to have a drink? A coffee maybe? I honestly can’t tell you how long this might take." He was usually quick at work, but a car that barely made a sound and stopped working was always a challenge. "Oh and I'm Ezra." He was about to hold out his hand to her, when he noticed how dirty it still was from the oil and so he suddenly held out his elbow to her. Ezra looked at her expectantly, almost as if such a greeting was the most normal thing in the world.
