"Makgoa a tena! "

That means Caucasians are annoying in my native tongue. I don't hate them but I don't prefer their company either...the main reason of this is because makgoa have a hero complex even if they don't realise they are just imposing themselves upon the rest of us 'unsaved'.

There are ancient practices and traditions that have been around before the Caucasians visited our land. These governed how we lived and explained the complex and misunderstood. No one can really tell you where or how they originated but we just know they come from Badimo. Badimo - the Ancestors, are our passed on decendents residing in the after life looking after their families from their graves. These are respected and revered spirits that have the power send good energy to your life or bad vibes if you stray from your path.

They communicate through their chosen disciples here in the land of the living called BoNtwetwe. These unfortunate souls must abandon all hopes and dreams at must serve these Gods till death does them apart. They do have the option to stray and chase the proverbial 'happiness'...only to be haunted by unrelenting bad luck or even death. One must find a balance of one wants to chase their own set Destiny; to heed the call of Badimo and answer to their calls whilst also pursuing a 'normal life'.

I am born cursed to the call of the gods, to be at their back and call and serve without question or failure...I am also stubborn enough to think I can have a normal life with gainful employment and pay my taxes and dues like a responsible adult...
