Yesterday, my mother was supposed to use the FitFlop Flare we bought last December 21. It was then that she realised that the pair was awkwardly bigger than the one we tried at the mall. Since most items are only allowed to be exchanged 7 days after the date of purchase, we could no longer go to the branch and have it changed.
We usually buy a size 7 but since the branch doesn't have a size 7 for the black Flare, we bought the size 8. We tried the size 8 first and it was okay so we proceeded with the purchase. We asked for a brand new pair and didn't try it on, apparently the brand new pair was bigger.
Hoping someone would be interested in buying the sandals, I posted online to see if one of my friends would be willing to buy it. I was really hoping that Treena would fit into a size 8 (she's usually a size 9) so that she could buy it and I will just buy a new pair at a different branch. The Annex branch had a size 7 on the gray one only and we didn't like it. "I have to have that in black", I keep telling myself yesterday.
One of my friends said on my post that I should try and ask the branch if I could still exchange the item. Without getting my hopes up, I asked my mom to go to the branch the next day. She went to the mall ahead of me and I texted her if the branch allowed her to change the item. She said yes but the branch told her to go back in the afternoon. I don't know why though but I was already feeling happy that we could exchange the item, I didn't bother asking why.
Since my mom had to leave early, she left me the receipt and told me to go to the branch to claim the new item. I already made plans with my friends so I told her I will be able to go there probably after 6 pm. While we were at Rob Magnolia, we went inside Shoe Salon and I saw a beige Flare at the store. I tried it on and felt sad because I wouldn't be able to have one because the last time we were at the Annex branch, they didn't have a beige one. I've had my eyes on the beige one ever since I saw it months ago but I didn't expect my mom to buy the Flare because it was more expensive than most of the designs. I was really happy when she bought one as a Christmas gif for herself (and since we have the same shoe size, I will be having a chance to wear it too hihi)
After trying the beige pair, I texted my mom saying "ANG GANDA TALAGA NUNG BEIGE. Meron sa Rob Mag huhuhuhuhu".
~Ā Fast forward to 8 pm ~
When I arrived at the Annex branch, I noticed that they have the beige Flare on display. I swear my eyes started twinkling and kept thinking to myself "Sana may 7. Sana may 7!!!!!"Ā when the staff interrupted me and asked:
"Maam, ano po bang ipapalit niyo dito?"
"Same design, basta size 7. Ano bang color meron kayo sa size 7?"
"Gray po Maam..... And pebble."
"Pebble? Yun ba yung beige?"
"Yes Maam."
"Okay, yung beige na lang"
"Maam sure na ba kayo dito? Once lang pwede magpapalit ah."Ā
OMG.Ā Parang gusto kong sabihin si kuya ng "LOVE YOU KUYA!!!!!!! SURE NA SURE AKO!!!"Ā but I maintained my composure (LOL) and simply said "yes".Ā Sarap dugtungan ng "I do."Ā kasi pogi si kuya HAHAHAHAHAHAĀ JOKE. Or not =))))
I didn't expect that I will be having the Flare in beige!!!! Dreams do come true. LOL. Oh diba haba pa ng kwento ko gusto ko lang naman sabihin na napapalit ko yung item tapos nakuha ko sa kulay na gusto ko! HEHEHEHEĀ
