lesbian phantom of the opera (or as i like to call it, phaggots of the opera) genuinely occupies my mind constantly (i cannot recommend rafscrap’s phantom covers enough)

prospero is kinda sorta raoul in this au but there isn’t any romantic rivalry, him and annabel are just besties

i feel the need to assert that i hate andrew lloyd webber and everything that he stands for and i also hate this fucking musical i only like the version that exists in my mind so sure the phantom of the opera technically lives in my mind but only if she’s a lesbian that doesn’t pretend to be christine’s dad at one point and while we’re here let’s nix the weird father daughter dynamics altogether cause i don’t like it!!!!

Hello Willtresor nation~

At long last, I’m back with more of the trash boys 💗 The prologue + first chapter of Dead Man’s Fiction: Yours Regardless is out now!

Just a few quick notes on what to expect:

- Part Two is not as canon-compliant: though all of the major plot points in the original WEBTOON are the same, I’ll be changing up a few of the smaller scenes with Will and Monty to continue some of the themes/storylines I built up in Part One!

- Updates will be a little bit slower: I get to study abroad this summer, so I will be BUSY but also still writing :) I’ll aim for a new chapter every week, Thursday/Friday.

- Also — chapter art because it’s cute and I can’t help myself 🙌

you should definitely go read it yourself. gives great insight into how nevermore is made. personally (this is my 'this is my opinion' alert), my two takeaways were:

WEBTOON is a horrible company

I know, shocker, but the billion dollar conglomerate is the problem. Red and Flynn have put all of their time into their comics, to the complete detriment of their personal life. Red acknowledges that this is something they've chosen and are okay with, but it's clear WEBTOON doesn't give a shit about the damage their fast schedule and lack of pay has inflicted.

Red really needs to stop reading the comments.

I mean this in the politest of politest things I've ever said to Red, but there are always going to be fans who see artists as nothing but machines. It's a problem that has gotten worse with generative AI. There will always be people speaking down on you, or complaining, and generally being nasty when you're trying your best. Please, please prioritize your mental health and the fact that you know you're a very proud person, and stop reading the comment section.
