It wasn’t every day you were like this. 

No, you were hardly like this. 

Sitting on the edge of Cameron's bed as he got ready for football practice. 

“Baby...you know I have practice, I can’t today. You know how important this is for me,” Pulling his cleats up his calf, you admired the size of his fingers, as they hooked into his cleats. You loved how thick his fingers were. 

He turned towards you, lifting your chin with his pointer, making you meet his gaze. “I promise, after we’ll spend some time together.” 

“Why can’t you just stay for today? can't football wait?..” you plead softly.

He clenched his jaw, staring down at your pretty pink lips as you parted them to let out a quiet whine. 

His teeth sunk into his bottom lip, letting out a little hum. “You know I can’t, baby…” His tone lowered. “Cant..” your noses were almost touching and his eyes never left yours.

You needed him badly.

Your heart beat was so loud, you were sure he could hear it. Your hand crept up his neck to the back of his ear, you caressed the area, earning you a soft satisfied hum out of cam. He leaned into your touch.

He placed his hand over yours and gently pulled it away.

He stood up, hoisting his duffel bag over his shoulder.

“I promise… after practice.” He whispered, making his way out of the door.
