The number of people staying indoors has been increasing year by year, but this year I want to make an effort to go out... There are also lots of delicious things at gatherings.

A few little notes:

Karuta is a card game that is traditionally played at New Year’s. Each card has two decks, one with a picture (usually of a poet or author) with a hiragana and a second one with a quote or a poem starting with the hiragana.

On the cards, you see the first letter or hiragana for Ash, Eiji and Shorter.

If you want to see how it’s played, watch the OVA of Skate the Infinity. There’s a scene where Reki, his sister, Langa, and Miya play it.

She drew the horse between her two cats because the Chinese zodiac for 2026 is Chinese is the Fire Horse.

This Ash sketch was apparently drawn over half a year ago... I started drawing it, got bored, and just left it sitting around until I forgot about it...l

I'm really terrible at organizing data, and on top of that, my memory is bad, so once I save something halfway, it's like it never existed!!!

By the way, I bought some crab for the end of the year. Since I won't be going home this year either. I'm looking forward to a leisurely crab hot pot!

Also, posting doodles on social media... I have my reservations about that too... (Just a little...)
