Back in Deep Space
So years ago, I began a trip to Beagle's point. And years ago, I gave up on that trip. I've come back to Elite Dangerous here and there, but have never seriously made any progress, and being in deep space with nothing but too much pride to take the easy way back, I haven't been able to enjoy the game as much. Well now that we have fleet carriers, and new fancy ships, a friend of mine has gotten back into the game and is planning on bringing their brand new carrier out to Beagle's point... meaning I have a way out. Of course, I'm not going to have them carry me there. I refuse to let them carry me there. I'm finishing the trip. I'm pushing through the space madness and finally fucking doing it. I haven't been stopping to smell the roses quite as much, but of course, I can't help it. So to celebrate my renewed vigor, and to look forward to arriving at my destination, have some roses c: They're quite lovely if you ask me. First off, jumping into a neutron star I got jumpscared by this yellow-orange star that was a little too friendly for my taste.

The sheer heart attack you feel when you hyper-jump straight through the core of the primary stars buddy always gets me

Howver, this is incorrect. We havent accounted for negatives. The mean would be 1 if â was only positivr numbers (which its not)
(-1 + 1 - 2 + 2âŚ) / â.
bc there is an equal amount of negatives amd positives, the mean of â is 0.
also you can find thr mean bc â is a set of numbers, aka all numbers

Hey so hot tip instead of starting with infinity, start with a really big number and see what happens as it gets bigger and bigger.
Example 2x / x. Without simplifying what happens when x gets really really big and you get infinity / infinity. Do it with getting really, really close to zero too.
Trust me youre on to something interesting here.

Stopped by to meet up with a derpy Beluga in the Collection of Wonders (Skaude AA-A H264 I think?). My friend hopped a ride on a fleet carrier and I met them in the middle on the trip to Colonia. This is a single system with binary black holes, a ringed class M star, a ringed dwarf star with a nearby landable body, and a neutron star with absolutely massive rings, that rotate so fast you can see the stars go around you when you've dropped into them. Rest of the trip to Colonia soon to come
Shots from the last leg of my journey. Found a nice pretty green-ish planet in the skull and crossbones nebula. Visited a system from a previous journey that I got stranded in about a year ago, where I mapped an earthlike and water world. I had hopped on a neutron cone and had no way to jump back, but this time I was better prepared with double the jump range and some FSD injections. Finally, crossed finding a Lagrange cloud off my bucket list just as my journey came to an end. Itâs eerie the way the crystals and mineral clumps quickly fade in through the fog
Didnt initally realize I could only upload 10 images per post, so here's a hodgepodge of some of my favorites that haven't already made it up. I cannot tell you how long I have been trying to get this last one where I fly underneath a solar flare, and how many times I've almost crispified my ship in the process
Alright, almost done with the initial image dump for this blog. This last set is going to be my most recent trip that Iâm currently on. All three unique blue giants here are roughly 200-300 times the radius of our sun if I recall correctly. The first image is a supergiant I headed for after revisiting the Eta Carina nebula. The next three are of me hopping into a wolf-rayet star, and spotting a massive star from 25,000 lightseconds away. The next two are of a class II blue giant I found well above the galactic plane, so far up that I needed those FSD boosts I made a post about farming. Finally, we have a pair of binary black holes and a pretty solar flare I forgot to post earlier lol.
Recently found my first Type C Carbon star, and let me tell you, these guys are pretty. The first 6 pictures are of the first one I found, which had a high metal content planet with rings and a nearby moon that was also landable (one of my favorite planets to date.) The second one wasnât as impressive, but it was still pretty non-the-less. I want to say each of these were 200-250 times the size of our sun. Just another reason I love this game

So looking on the galaxy map I assumed that this bright blue cloud of stellar dust was the solar winds of a wolf-rayet star, but to my surprise there was a black hole in its place. Being so close to the Heart and Soul Nebula means that its a beautiful spot to show of the gravitational lensing so characteristic of these things.

Image dump from my old trip to Betelguese, one of the largest known stars in the Milky way Galaxy. This star is over 640 times the radius of our sun, and is absolutely massive, leading to an absolutely beautiful sunrise on its nearby planet. Got plenty of backed up images from old trips, so expect more to come!
Currently on a trip in the depths of Space. Stopped along the way on some planetsâ surfaces to gather materials for FSD injections. A lot of these planets are very rich in materials like Yttrium, Arsenic, Germanium, Vanadium, Niobium, etc.
