“I’m so sorry it happened. Homophobia is terrible. My dad’s pretty bad about it.”

“Maybe you could visit them. Or get them to move out here. You have the entire vacation to decide.”

“A blessing is what you’d call it?” Blake laughed. “Okay, also, why am I fruity pebbles? You and Hal did this whole cereal thing and I had no say. What if I want to be Trix?”

“It has, hasn’t it?”

“Can I just sleep the rest of it away?”

“I know,” she smiled back at her. “Hmm, I don’t think I’d be very comfortable to sleep on, honestly.” She grinned. “Bony shoulders.”

“Your hair is fluffy enough so that I don’t notice.”
