Sylas took a long pause, glancing around to make sure the girl was actually speaking to him before nodding. “There’s a bakery just down the road from here. They do a lot of wedding and whatnot.”

I’m currently on house lock-down. Everyone comes to me and I feel very spoiled.

I made a deal with them to be a good boy. They’re even letting me do my surgery recovery and all of my physical therapy at home after the fact. I’m a lucky boy.
