Chapter Five **TW blood + wounds**
Nathaniel blinked in the darkness, struggling to orient himself. The ground was cold and damp beneath his limbs. There were metal bars in front of him⦠He was still in the dungeon cell.
Whipping his head around, he looked up to find Andrew sitting pointedly a short distance away, his back against the wall and his expression guarded and faintly annoyed. Nathanielβs breath caught as he quickly took stock of himself. His skull did not throb, there was no fresh ache along his shoulders or spine, no pain that suggested he had struck the stone floor when he went down.
βI caught you before you hit the ground,β Andrew said. βSeemed inconvenient to let a high lord crack his head open in my cell.β
Nathaniel pushed himself upright too quickly and had to brace a hand against the floor when the room swayed. βMy apologies,β he said, breathless with embarrassment. βI donβt know what came over me.β
Nathaniel looked down at his hands, mortified of meeting Andrewβs confused looks and terrified of what was happening to himself. The spider web of dark veins were beginning to subside, but he still felt an intense hunger burning him to the core. Whatever Prince Riko had injected into him was lasting far longer than anything else ever had.
And that terrified Nathaniel even more.
He needed Jean- he wanted Jean right now.
βThose marks on your arms,β Andrew muttered quietly. Nathaniel looked up, surprised by the tone of his voice. The biting indifference was now replaced withβ¦ almost concern, perhaps? βHow did you get those, Nathaniel?β
Nathaniel cleared his throat and tugged the sleeves of his jacket down to cover his arms. βThey are nothing of consequence.β
Andrew reached out and took his wrist, the sudden contact making Nathaniel whimper as his skin felt like fire erupted across it. Andrew quickly softened his grasp so that he was barely touching him, but even that was almost unbearable. Shifting closer to him, Andrew stared down at the receding black veins on his skin. In the close proximity of the Druidβs body, Nathaniel realized just how cold he had become. Unthinkingly, he leaned closer towards him.
βThese markings,β Andrew continued, not noticing his movement. βThis is fromβ¦ This isΒ magic.β
Nathaniel closed his eyes, feeling drawn to Andrewβs touch, that raging hunger gnawing at him more viciously.

yup, thatβs sasusaku angst to Ethel Cain.
Naruto once said that she has a horrible taste in men, and as with everything heβs correct (although it was rich coming from him ngl)
i know people might think that i hate Sasuke, but that couldnβt be further from truth, i do however hate that they end up together.
hereβs some of the reasons:
- non existent chemistry. they had a few moments but thats about it.
- Sasuke was quite vocal about his plan to revive the clan (spoilers you canβt do it with Naruto), so in my eyes he literally used her π§π»ββοΈ
- a man that supposedly love you not gonna marry you, make a fucking kid with you and DISAPPEAR to βatone for his sinsβ
(just say that you canβt stand seeing Naruto building life with Hinata right in front of you, you dipshit).
all in all, NaruSasu is real and Sakura deserves better πΈ
