Anyone who knows me knows I like to draw small. And sometimes, that kills my ability to capture detail.

In my heart, I have this storyline where Eddie survives in the Upside-Down and him and Steve are reunited. Their friendship grows, they share music and interests and fall in love. And that's DEF what is going to be in Season 5.

A personal aside: So I have this condition. The longer I look at something, the less I can physically see it. It's diabetic macular degeneration. These voids in my vision slowly open and eventually grey out what I'm looking at. It also warps my perspective so things, on paper, look right and then when I get them to the screen I see ... it's not right.

And there is no CTRL+Z on paper.

I promised to do artwork. I have every intention, but when I sit down to create I mostly feel like crying. I'm in my 40s, recovering from a heart attack, and overwhelmed.

The size I usually draw versus what I’m doing soon. Maybe one day I’ll draw on a whole sheet of paper.

Growing up, we didn’t have much. To save on supplies, my mom told me to draw small - on the fronts, on the backs, in the corners of every page. And that’s been how I’ve drawn going forward. Tiny, details too vague to be detailed because there’s no room. Even when I tattoo, smaller is better for me. I feel more in control.

Maybe I will get to a full page art someday. But that day is not today lol. Some Hellcheer is coming soon!
