there’s something special about living only in the moment. letting yourself be bored and lonely. letting time pass slowly. noticing more sounds and colors. just noticing more in general. life feels more surreal. you can’t remember the last time you truly looked. you remember windows are meant to be looked out of and birds are meant to be listened to. watching yourself with a new kind of tenderness. there’s a poetic and voyeuristic window into your little world and you’re the only one looking through it. your life in candid shots, like an indie movie. they don’t look like the aesthetic pictures you saved, but at least they’re yours ♡
