One to advocate that lightbulb changers should have wage parity with electricians.

One to alert the media that women are now “out-lightbulbing” men.

One to say that the man who found the step ladder is an “ally” not a light bulb changer.

One to just sit there taking pictures for her blog for photo-evidence that men are unnecessary.

An Oxford University student who stabbed her boyfriend with a bread knife may not go to jail because it could damage her prospects of a medical career, a court has heard.

Aspiring heart surgeon Lavinia Woodward, 24, punched and stabbed her boyfriend during an alcohol-and-drug-fuelled row at Christ Church College. She admitted unlawfully wounding the Cambridge University student, who she met on the dating app Tinder.

Judge Ian Pringle QC, sitting at Oxford crown court, said he would take an “exceptional” course and defer sentence for four months, hinting that Woodward will not be jailed because of her talent. “It seems to me that if this was a one-off, a complete one-off, to prevent this extraordinary able young lady from not following her long-held desire to enter the profession she wishes to would be a sentence which would be too severe,” he said.

“What you did will never, I know, leave you, but it was pretty awful, and normally it would attract a custodial sentence, whether it is immediate or suspended,” he said.

Woodward, who lives in Milan, Italy, with her mother, stabbed her then-boyfriend in the leg after punching him in the face. She then hurled a laptop, glass and jam jar at him during the attack on 30 September last year, the court heard. She was in court to hear the judge’s comments.

The court was told that Christ Church would allow her to return in October because she “is that bright” and has had articles published in medical journals.

Mitigating, James Sturman QC said his client’s dreams of becoming a surgeon were “almost impossible” as her conviction would have to be disclosed. She had had a very troubled life and was abused by a previous boyfriend, he said.

Woodward will be sentenced on 25 September. She was given a restraining order and told to stay drug-free and not to reoffend.

A spokesman for Christ Church said: “I’m afraid that Christ Church does not comment on the circumstances of individual students.”

A geography teacher cleared of raping a pupil has warned that men should steer clear of the profession, after a false allegation shattered his dream career.

Kato Harris, a former head of department at an all-girls school in London, was accused of attacking a 14-year-old three times in a classroom during lunch breaks in autumn 2013, but was found not guilty after a trial last year.

The 38-year-old said before his ordeal began, “life was like a wonderful dream”, and with a successful career and a child also on the way he was “looking forward to a great future”.

In an interview with the Mail on Sunday, he has disclosed that “one of the biggest challenges” he now faces is forgiving his accuser, something he said he will do, “just not now”.

He told the newspaper:

  “I would certainly advocate that no man qualify as a teacher. It is just not worth it. What is the lesson here? There is nothing to protect the male teacher.”

A jury found Mr Harris, from Richmond, not guilty of all charges following his trial at Isleworth Crown Court.

“I had to give up my dream job because of a crime I didn’t commit,” he said.

“I am unemployed, living in a bedsit and will soon be on housing benefit. I am toxic.”

Mr Harris, who saidhe is now considering a job in a crematorium, added: “If I knew on the day I qualified what I know now, I would never have become a teacher.

"I will never work with children again. I will never put myself in that position of vulnerability.”

The accusations emerged in December 2014, and Mr Harris said he was in “total shock” when police arrested him.

He told the newspaper he had made the decision to kill himself if he was charged, but that with the arrival of a baby daughter he wanted to carry on and prove his innocence.

Mr Harris added: “I’ve looked into the abyss. But every day I wake up and I’m a daddy and not in prison, and that’s the best thing that I could have hoped for.”

Only 18% of Americans polled call themselves feminists. Even if we had all of those as women it still falls well short of a female majority.

Using the same reasoning we can conclude “If you believe in God you are a Christian”.

Feminists start with the conclusion that men are evil beasts, and work backwards from there, in the same hateful way the Nazis and their antisemitic ilk did a long time ago with the Jews. Feminists assume malice, always. Women elsewhere - feel loved by men. Women elsewhere - love men. Love their sons, their fathers, their brothers. Only Feminists call for a genocide, only Feminists demand men be placed into concentration camps.

Illiterate? Even if he was, why would it matter? The greatest leaders in the world could be illiterate and it wouldn’t change a thing.

Bigoted? Ironically, the people who shout “bigot” most often tend to be the bigots themselves.

No, he didn’t run his campaign off of hate and racism, it was ran off of hatred for illegal immigration, and a desire to, well, Make America Great Again through boosting the economy. 

I never said you have to respect Trump, I never even implied that. I just said that you should respect the fact that other people live different lives to eachother, and that we all come from different backgrounds and different policies affect is differently. 

He’s caused them? Last I checked, it was other people that caused them.
