What I love especially about the dnd sessions shown here is that Caine isn't the DM and boss like I'd expected, but Gangle is.

Gangle, who always wanted to be a storyteller. Gangle, who was meek and afraid to stand up for herself, gets to be in a position of authority. Gangle, who abused her power in the Spudsy's adventure and made it hell for others and herself, is trusted to create a joyful experience for everyone. And since Caine didn't make her an evil clone, she shall play the villain in her own adventure!

And Ragatha as the barbarian! Getting to shed the Mom Friend persona and explore a different side of herself in a safe context 🥹

The past two years I've been blessed to partner with Ricco Fajardo each June for an annual ZLS-themed charity drive over on my cosplay page. Last year we made something extra unhinged, and I realized I never posted it here! Overall, we managed to raise $1,200 for The Trevor Project. We're currently taking suggestions for a charity to support in 2026!

I’m still continuing to create more lore, story parts, and character-related content, and I also want to try some other formats.

Updates might slow down a bit from here. The next main chapter may take around a month or even longer to come out, but I’ll still be posting sketches, small comics, and random bits of ideas from time to time.

Scratch was his primary creator, who kept most of Abel’s development hidden from the rest of the team. With his health declining and progress not being made fast enough, Scratch would often become enraged and break parts of Abel’s code on purpose. He was brilliant, he could always fix it later! He never knew it was a sentient being on the other end of the line, and Abel had no way to tell him.

I wonder how many people understand that these are two separate things happening in different times. One is Caine coming more and more into existence and discovering the obsolete unused brain scans, and the other is Caine gaining access to the random WiFi hotspot that just appeared temporarily (as they often do) nearby. They’re both moments of self discovery which is why we cut back and forth between them, but they are undoubtedly not happening at the same time.
