Celina had never been a good listener in regards to her mother’s warnings on being a crimefighter. After much persuasion, her mother agreed to let Celina come with her on the condition she did what she was told. Celina agreed.
However when they were snooping around a bad guy’s house, Celina could not resist going off on her own. The result was predictable. She was captured by the bad guy and used as bait for her mom.
It worked perfectly. Celina’s mother showed up, very concerned for her daughter and terrified she was coughed. She was too busy trying to free her that she neglected Celina’s warnings the bad guy was hiding, ready to strike.
He would be successful. In a matter of minutes he would have two lovely crimefighters as his captives.
