su is just a show full of microaggressions. a bunch of tiny slights against characters of color that dont seem like much on their own but add up to an unwelcome show watching experience

Also, silence is an answer. The people who are seeing concrete, and all the other issues surrounding this show and its creators, and deceiding to “stay out of it” says a lot about them. Just saying.

Anyways, them apologizing does not excuse what they’ve done, and if you’re black you do NOT have to forgive and forget, as it was going way over the line. You have the right to continue to be angry and upset, no matter what any idiot on the internet says.

still kinda ticked that it took the crew drawing straight up fucking minstrels for ppl to accept that the crew might have a racism problem, so they were just able to easily brush off all the ppl complaining about stuff like the zoo, uncle andy, bismuth, the week of sardonyx, and sugilite for years.

I love when white su criticals make it clear they don’t give a shit about the show’s racism and just wanted to complain about stuff like, the animators forgetting to draw Ruby’s gem in a couple of frames.
