hossy for @trainwreckgenerator
hossy 2 - the three birds are the colour of the Welsh flag as this build was inspired by Rhiannon, a Welsh goddess of horses connected to a trio of mystical birds
wow! fat-bottomed horse #3
today i died at sea
i'm a romantic you see
why do humans have a built in "let me bother this animal" switch and why is it so funnnnn. like yes hmmm ☝️ i think i Will poke this cat
to be fair so do a bunch of other animals. for example
We think of humour as a distinctly human emotion, but some animals may also use it to strengthen their bonds.
bothering that animal is a beautiful kind of playing and having fun
This is a really fun article but this bit stuck out to me
Because if someone took me to a shelter and played recordings of human laughter, I do not think that would make me less stressed at all.
grasshoppers piss me off because what
Houston zoo spent actual money making this fucker a neck brace
NOT amused

Giant Isopod
Bathynomus giganteus
Believed to be living relics - over 160 million years ago - the Giant Isopod existed before the break-up of the supercontinent Pangea. The gigantism of the giant isopod may be an adaptation to the extreme pressure of the deep oceans they inhabit around the world. Giant isopods are one of the largest crustaceans and the largest known member of the isopod family, a group of crustaceans that are closely related to shrimp and crabs. The giant isopod is also related to terrestrial crustaceans, such as the commonly known pillbug or roly-poly.
These free-swimming, solitary bottom dwellers prefer a mud or clay seafloor. Giant isopods are brown or pale lilac in color. Their tough, compressed exoskeleton provides protection for the isopod. When threatened they resemble pillbugs in that they curl up into a ball with the tough shell protecting the Giant Isopod’s sensitive interior.
They burrow into the sediment for shelter and are always in a state of semi-hibernation. Since they do not know when they will be able to eat next, they limit their expenditure of the energy needed for movement and breathing. They eat whatever they can get from food drifting down from above - bodies of dead whales, fish and squid. Also, they will eat slow-moving sea creatures such as the sea cucumber and sponge. The Giant Isopod can go for periods of not eating.
