Keep It Real

it has been a total of sixty-five days since we last talked. if you wanted to talk to me then you would.. it’s odd not talking to you. some days i feel at peace and some days i can’t leave my bed. you are my best friend. you were my best friend. some days i still smell your cologne and some days i forget what your voice sounds like and i get scared that i lost every part of you. you told me you would always be there for me but now you are no where to be found when i need you the most. why did you have to go? why did you have to leave? so many questions run through my head everyday and i can not seem to figure out what went wrong with us. you claimed it was young love. it was so much more than that, you were so much more than that. days turned into months and you are still on my mind. i pick up my phone to call but i remind myself over and over, if you wanted to talk to me then you would. you were my best friend. no, you are my best friend. it is time for you to come home.
