I love Sharon Carter. I love what the movies did with her, even if she only received 7 and a half minutes of screen time across two films. I love her for liking Captain America because who doesn’t fucking like Captain goddamn America?!? And why wouldn’t Captain America fucking like Sharon goddam Carter in return? She is the complete package. But Steve already knows that, hence why he laid a big, fat kiss on her. I love that her character had Peggy Carter as a role model so that Sharon could follow in her example and grow up to become a strong, independent woman who fights for what she believes in. I love that even with Sharon’s connections to Peggy, she isn’t a copy of Peggy, but is her own character that stands on her own two feet. She can kiss whoever she fucking wants to because the things that make her great have nothing to do with a single kiss. Because Sharon Carter is more than just a kiss or love interest. And to her fans, she is remembered for more than that kiss. She is a great character with so much potential that will still hopefully be explored in the future.
