28. Have you ever been to a pride parade?                                                         I’ve been to like one pride event before like YEARS ago, but I’d love to go to another. Not sure where or when, but I know it’s in my future! :) #bisexualexcellence 

i think it’s great when people have their emotional needs met and have someone who supports them fully because everyone deserves that. BUT relying on someone for your happiness is selfish and unfair because honestly it’s not the other persons problem. making yourself happy is your own priority and it’s something hopefully you can share with the other person. will smith put something up on social media that is much more articulate than this so look that up but what I’m trying to say is that a lot of people get caught up in “oh, this person does this FOR ME/this benefits ME” type of love (I’m not trying to dictate your love life) but I just think it’s a good thing for everyone to take a step back and look at more of WE approach. love shouldn’t be focused on “what can I get out of this relationship?” but instead that back and forth of building eachother up. two individuals can help eachother within their separate, but parallel journeys. celebrate the acts of giving and growth TOGETHER that is love.
