Grumpy x Sunshine!!
⥠"smile less. it's unsettling how happy you are at 7am." -- "can't help it. you make grumpy look cute though." [drags them outside for "fresh air," gets a groan, gets a hand held anyway]
⥠"i didn't ask for your optimism." -- "too bad. you're getting it anyway."
⥠"why are you like this?" -- "like what, likable?" -- "...yes. annoyingly so."
⥠"you hummed. just now. i heard it." -- "i did not." -- "you so did."
⥠"stop being nice to me, it's ruining my whole personality."
⥠"you're the only person who can make me laugh when i'm this mad." -- "i'll take that as a compliment."
⥠"i don't do mornings." -- "i know. i do them for both of us."
⥠"you're insufferably chipper." -- "and you're insufferably grumpy, yet here we are."
⥠"how are you not annoyed right now." -- "i decided a while ago you're worth the annoyance." [complains the whole walk, doesn't let go of their hand once]
⥠"i hate that you're right." -- "say it again, i want to hear it properly this time." -- "no."
⥠"you're doing the thing where you're nice to me on purpose." -- "is it working?" -- "...unfortunately."
⥠"i was fine before you showed up." -- "you were surviving. there's a difference." [grumbles the entire time being handed a blanket, wraps themselves in it immediately]
⥠"why are you still here?" -- "because leaving would mean not seeing you smile eventually, and i'm patient."
⥠"you're exhausting." -- "you keep saying that like it's not the nicest thing you've said to me all week."
Ways to spark your writing again!! PART TWO
⧠write a character who spends the whole book chasing someone else's dream because it was easier than admitting they never had one of their own
⧠let a character be the villain in someone else's story and never find out
⧠write two people who could have been something, if either of them had just gone first
⧠let a character realize they've been grieving someone who's still alive
⧠write a character who was never taught how to be loved gently, only earned
⧠a character returns to the town they swore they'd never come back to, and finds out it was never the town's fault
⧠let a character discover the sacrifice they thought was noble was actually just fear wearing a nicer name
⧠write someone who finally says the thing out loud, only to realize the other person already knew
⧠a character spends years building a version of themselves no one asked for
⧠let two former best friends become strangers who are somehow still polite to each other
⧠write a character who realizes they've spent their whole life being someone's backup plan
⧠a character finally stops waiting for someone to change and has to decide what that means about staying
⧠write someone who was the favorite, and never learned how to be anything else
types of magical ailments & curses !!
⤡ affliction .⌠ÝË ongoing and worsening over time, and it usually needs active intervention to stop it from getting worse. this creates a natural ticking clock for your plot, bc doing nothing is never actually neutral, every day your character delays looking for a cure is a day the affliction gets stronger.
⤡ blight .⌠ÝË affects land, crops, or the general health of a place rather than targeting a person directly. this one's great for raising stakes beyond just your protagonist, a whole village or region suffering makes the consequences of a curse feel bigger than one character's personal problem.
⤡ mark .⌠ÝË a visible sign of a curse or bargain, and it can't be hidden by normal means. this is genuinely great for tension in social scenes, a character can't just quietly deal with their curse in private, everyone around them can see something is wrong, which forces conversations the character would rather avoid.
⤡ bind-curse  .⌠ÝË restricts action or speech, often tied to a specific condition, like "cannot lie" or "cannot leave this house." this one's a fantastic constraint to write dialogue around, bc the character has to find creative, technically-true ways to say what they mean without triggering the curse's actual restriction.
⤡ wasting hex .⌠ÝË slow-draining, saps strength or magic gradually over time rather than all at once. great for a character who's visibly weakening across the whole book, bc it forces them to make harder and harder choices about what they can still afford to do with the power or strength they have left.
⤡ echo curse .⌠ÝË repeats an event or emotion on a cycle, an anniversary, a moon phase, some recurring trigger. this is such a good device for a character who has to relive something painful on a schedule, bc it turns a single trauma into a structural element of the plot itself, something the reader can anticipate dread alongside the character.
⤡ soul debt .⌠ÝË a cost owed for magic already used, and it comes due eventually regardless of the caster's original intent. this one's great for a character who cast something desperate and good-intentioned long ago and is now facing consequences that have nothing to do with whether the original spell was justified.
⤡ silence .⌠ÝË removes a caster's ability to speak spells at all, and it's often self-inflicted or used as punishment. genuinely devastating for a character whose whole identity is built around their magic, bc it doesn't just weaken them, it takes away the specific thing that made them who they were.

What Characters do when they're Alone!!!
Ëâ⎠Talking out loud to themselves through problems like no one is listening because no one is
Ëâ⎠The face they make when finally alone after too long being perceived
Ëâ⎠Dancing in a way they would die before doing in front of anyone
Ëâ⎠Practicing conversations that will never happen or already have
Ëâ⎠Eating whatever they want with zero performance of restraint
Ëâ⎠The shows they watch that they'd never recommend because they reveal too much
Ëâ⎠Crying at something small that was really about something large
Ëâ⎠Lying on the floor for no reason and finding it solves something
Ëâ⎠Narrating their own life quietly like a documentary no one commissioned
Ëâ⎠The hobby they've never mentioned to anyone because it belongs only to them
Ëâ⎠Laughing at their own thoughts in an empty room
Ëâ⎠Rehashing old arguments and finally saying the perfect thing three years too late
Ëâ⎠The way their posture completely changes when the last person leaves
Ëâ⎠Making elaborate meals or eating cereal over the sink with no in between
Ëâ⎠The music played at volumes that would concern the neighbors
Ëâ⎠Sitting in silence so deliberately it becomes its own kind of noise
Ëâ⎠Allowing themselves to want things they'd never say out loud to another person
Ëâ⎠The kindness they extend to themselves only when no one is watching
Ëâ⎠Falling apart in the shower because it's the only place that feels private enough
Ëâ⎠The version of themselves they are at 2am that no one else has ever met
Ways to Describe a Personality!!
Ways to describe Cold!!
15 Romantic Actions to Use Instead of a Kiss
1. Lacing Fingers TogetherÂ
Not just holding hands, actually interlacing them. It's a small physical detail that reads as far more deliberate and possessive than a loose hand-hold.
2. Nuzzling Into Their Neck or HairÂ
Face pressed in, breathing them in for a second. Works especially well in a quiet moment after something stressful, when a character needs to physically ground themselves in the other person.
3. A Gentle Bite or NipÂ
Lip, shoulder, ear, wherever fits the scene. Playful if the tone's light, charged if it's not.
4. Massaging Their Hands or ShouldersÂ
Practical and intimate at the same time. Great for a character who shows affection through action instead of words, since this lets them do something instead of saying it.
5. Tracing Idle Patterns on Their SkinÂ
Fingertips moving without any real purpose, along an arm, a palm, a shoulder. It signals comfort and closeness better than almost anything verbal could.
6. Running Fingers Through Their HairÂ
This is the absent-minded kind of thing a character does without fully realizing it. Tip: this one's especially good for a scene where someone's comforting the other after a nightmare or a bad day.
7. Gripping Their Waist or Hip to Pull Them CloserÂ
Direct, a little urgent, and it closes distance fast in a way that reads as wanting rather than just affectionate. Could also substitute with belts, capes/cloaks, pockets, ties, collars and more.
8. Trailing Fingertips Down an Arm or SpineÂ
The key is to make this deliberately slow. This is a good one for tension-building specifically, since the anticipation of where the hand's going matters more than the touch itself.
9. Scratching Nails Lightly Down Their Back or ScalpÂ
Small, physical, and surprisingly underused given how much sensory detail it gives you to work with.
10. Pressing a Palm Flat Against Their ChestÂ
Feeling the heartbeat under their hand, whether from adrenaline or nerves. It's a small gesture that gives you a built-in excuse to describe how fast someone's heart is racing. Also works with the wrist or side of the neck for a more possessive scene.Â
11. Brushing a Thumb Across Their CheekboneÂ
Slow and deliberate, usually paired with a character just looking at the other for a beat too long.
12. Wiping Something Off Their FaceBlood, dirt, tears, doesn't matter. The act of gently cleaning someone up says care in a way dialogue rarely manages.
13. Tucking Hair Behind Their EarSmall, almost automatic, and very cute if the character doing it doesn't even seem to notice they're doing it. Similar actions would be holding back their open hair, or tying/braiding their hair when it keeps getting in the way.
14. Holding Their Face Without Kissing ThemThe almost-kiss that doesn't happen. Use this when you want the reader leaning forward in their seat, desperate for something that isn't coming yet. Pair it with their foreheads resting against each other, their eyes fluttering shut as they just breathe each other in. Works pretty well for goodbyes, or if theyâre trying to steal a moment in public without too much PDA.Â
15. Holding Eye Contact a Beat Too LongThe simplest one on this list and still one of the hardest to write well. It's all in the extra second that shouldn't be there but is.

hiii isnât it cool how Pyrrhon is both Icarus and the Sun. Isnât it so cool how he came so close to being a god, but the selfishness inherent to that level of power got to him and was ultimately his downfall. hi have you thought about that.
