Day one-hundred fifty: a lemon 🍋! Wow, one-hundred fifty posts so far ❤️. That’s crazy! Anyways, I made this lemon because I was going to enter a baking competition for work, and I had made these lemon cookie bars. But I didn’t know how to spruce up my actual dessert, so I thought making a little lemon and posing it next to my dish would give me more points for presentation 😅. I found this pattern by jinggarajut on Instagram (linked here), and I thought the little eyes with the blushy cheeks and the leaf on the lemon’s “head” was soooo cute!!!! I didn’t stick with crocheting circles for the cheeks and instead just sewed the blush on, but this lemon turned out really cute! And I think I impressed a few co-workers with my baking AND crocheting skills 😄
