Dear Chris,

I still judge myself sometimes for finding joy in all of this. I could be in the midst of tears and call myself stupid for running to your content/music for comfort but it's sincerely the thing that helps.

You've said so many kind and thoughtful things over the years to encourage us to keep going. Things that have wrapped around my broken heart like a hug I so desperately needed.

I think I've always believed I need to stand on my own two feet, relying on no one. But you've given me a place to run to, you and the boys, a place I can sit and rest in the midst of all of Life's chaos.

I find so much comfort in your songs, I feel seen by their lyrics. Through other content, the laughter you guys bring is unmatched.

Also, my friends who are Stays have changed my life. These precious souls that are far away, who I've yet to meet, have been one of the greatest gifts I've ever been given. 8 boys & 3 precious Stays (hopefully more to come) that have altered everything for the better.

On good and bad days, you've been (affectionately) my "parasocial bestie."
