The next day Ilya texts him and asks him if he wants to go out for dinner and to be ready at 7 cus he's picking him up and that evening there's a knock at the door and Shane opens it and there's Ilya dressed in a nice suit with flowers and his hair styled and he leads Shane to his most practical sports car ("Am not taking you on our first date in a jeep Hollander!") and opens the door for him and they have a beautiful romantic dinner at a restaurant that serves food Shane can eat and they go for a walk after holding hands where anyone can see and Ilya drops him home and walks him to the door and asks for a goodnight kiss but he can't come inside until after three dates ("I am a gentleman Hollander"). Then he drives around the block before sneaking back in and joining Shane in the shower where Shane blows him

Genuinely what is there to be a fan of with Hayden? What redeeming qualities does he have? What scene in the book endears him to you and makes you ignore all his disrespectful behaviour?
