GL: “Cap, have you never gone to school before?”

Marvel: “Nope!”

Flash: “Not even in Ancient Greece? You were born around that time, right?”

Marvel: “What? No??”

GL and Flash: *share a look*

GL: “Cap, how old are you?”

Marvel: “Chronologically?”

Flash: “Yes?”

Marvel: “It’s between 92 and a hundred thousand.”

GL: “That uh… doesn’t really give us much to work with, man.”

Marvel: “Let’s just go with 92.”

Flash: “So you’re saying that during your 92 years of living, possibly more, you’ve never even stepped foot into a school?”

Marvel: “Well, I went all the way up until I was eight.”

GL: “That doesn’t really make it better.”

Flash: “Maybe we can work something out with Black Canary?”

Marvel: “What?”

Flash: “Well, she manages the kids on the team. She tells them to go to school and stuff so who’s to say she couldn’t find a way to make you go to school too? She’s resourceful like that.”

That’s how Billy ended up going to school as Marvel while shapeshifted into Billy.

Flash and GL: *dropping Billy off at a school in their civies*

GL: “You’re such a cute kid, man!” *pinches his cheek*

Marvel: “Dude, stop!” *slaps his hand away*

GL: “Alright alright, fine.”

Flash: “Have a good day at school!”

Later…

Flash, GL, Marvel: *all walking to a zeta tube while munching on hotdogs*

Flash: “So, Cap- er Mark, how was school?”

Marvel: *takes a bite so he can chew in silence for a bit* “I got expelled.”

Marvel: Well, some kids were talking about animals and showing me photos of them, so I was telling them about Tawny

GL: *thinking about the plush* Tawny? How did that get you expelled?

Starting a Golden Eyes Billy propaganda campaign as we speak

His normal eyes are ultramarine blue, but ever since he became Captain, his eyes have turned Golden to represent that Divinity has been bestowed upon him

If he loses all of his power or blessings, his eyes will go back to ultramarine blue eyes

You know, in my head, about Billy's future (according to Billy's multiple runs before), he either dies or ends up immortal and trapped in the Rock of Eternity. That does raise an important question.

Does Mary share the same Golden eyes as Billy? And does Freddy, as well? I don't think so. Billy was chosen first, and he was the primary representative of the Gods. Mary and Freddy were also blessed, but it is a 'sharing his blessings' kind of situation. And Billy himself chose them. On the other hand, Billy was chosen by the Wizard himself to continue his legacy, which is why Billy's the only one with Golden eyes.

And what if Billy's the only one who knows that? That Mary and Freddy are free souls, who are not chained by the duties of being THE Captain Marvel? That he will eventually outlive them?

And what does Billy think about it? Actually? When he looks into his twin's, Mary's eyes and sees the shade of blue that their parents had? The shade of blue that he once had? The shade of blue of the sky above? Of freedom?

He didn't know the meanings of those Golden eyes when he was younger, but the more he grows, his power grows, and he slowly becomes something closer to a God than man, and I think he would hate it.

I’m back on my shit. So this one is a Captain Marvel x Post Last Dance Venom crossover idea. So basically after the events in Nevada the duo are just happy to be together still but are confused as hell because shenanigans ensued and they’re now in Fawcett. So while looking around the place they meet a certain homeless kid and because of the events in the movie Venom immediately wants to keep him. Since they’re both not part of any hero team or from his universe he’s more willing to let them know about being Captain Marvel so he can help them. Eddie does find the kid adorable but knows they need to get home so the entire time Billy tries to help Eddie is trying to hold back Venom from adopting the kid. His entire argument is ‘it’s free’ a homeless superpowered child is the perfect one for them to raise, they could raise him better than anyone else.

The entire dynamic is stupid but adorable to me, Billy just wants to help while avoid being adopted, Eddie likes the kid and all but knows they can’t just take a random kid from another universe and is fighting for his life to hold back Venom, and Venom does not care in the slightest about what he should and shouldn’t do but he eventually he kinda begs Billy to give them a chance. Venom really wants them to get a chance at having a family, Vemon is considered a runt of his species, Eddie fumbled the only woman he loved, and Billy lost his family (Mary not included). I think both Eddie and Billy get worn down enough to eventually agree to try for the remainder of their time together which I think would work pretty well, especially with Eddie being a journalist and Billy being a radio announcer. I just find the two of them bonding over their respective jobs and giving each other tips is adorable, Eddie giving tips while Billy gives him a different perspective on things, Venom is very bored when these talks happen, he will endure it but would probably use it as an excuse to get what he wants.

I like to think of the JL’s perspective on this if they ever encounter Venom specifically. Maybe there’s an emergency that requires Marvel, maybe an alien invasion or something just for fun and suddenly there’s this new one that doesn’t fit or maybe the invasion is just Symbiotes again that they need to fight in this universe now but either way when Venom approaches they assume he’s with the invasion. The man just wanted to say hi to his son so while the JL is prepared to fight the random alien just greets Marvel like “that’s our boy, we’re so proud” and just stuns them. I love the JL not knowing crap about the Captain so now the only thing they know about him is that his parents are aliens. This is very funny considering the only thing Billy and Eddie get to have in common is the baggy look, Eddie is in the middle of a panic attack when the JL try to fight, Venom wants to hug his big little boy, and Billy wants to be anywhere but here at the moment. Since this is still the middle of an invasion though they don’t get much time to question it and depending on the invasion Venom either disappears when it’s over, hiding with Eddie back in Fawcett or sticks around if it’s the Symbiotes. Either way Marvel has to spill some of the beans but it’s funnier if he manages to get away before he’s forced to so the League just has to guess themselves. What I’d pay to see that rumor mill.

Diana has a special relationship with Captain Marvel. They’re family. Technically. But they’re family! The man has no problem treating her like one of his own, and it’s not like Diana has any of her other family in man’s world so she’ll take what she can get. The only downside is that no one knows his actual identity, including Diana. Half the people in the JL don’t even believe he has one, but when Diana asked, he confirmed he did. She hoped that one day he would share his identity with her, but for the meantime, she’d just continue to enjoy their bond.

Like, for example, Diana talks to Marvel whenever she misses Themyscira. The very first time she started missing her home was about a few weeks after the JL formed. (Marvel’s a founding member in this post)

WW: “Captain, do you ever miss home?”

Marvel: “Hm? I guess so?” *confused*

WW: “You guess so? Do you not miss Olympus? I assume that’s where you grew up.”

Marvel: “Oh, no. I’ve never been to Olympus. If that’s what you mean by home. It isn’t.”

WW: “Then where is your home?”

Marvel: “Well, I haven’t had a home in a long time. So, I can’t particularly say. All I know is that I can’t go back, and as the years go by, I hate to say it but I barely remember it.” He only knows what his dad looks like due to his Marvel form, and he only remembers his mom due to Mary’s form. As for what they were like? A lot of the memories are fuzzy. “So, unfortunately… there isn’t really much to miss.”

WW: “Do you think I’ll forget about Themyscira?”

Marvel: “I don’t know. But that’s why it’s important to make a home wherever you go. That, and if you really don’t wanna forget, you can always try and find people who used to call your home theirs.” *shrugs*

WW: “I don’t believe there are any other Amazonians and man’s world.”

Marvel: “Well… not technically.” *little smile* “You know, a few thousand years ago I was an Amazonian at some point.”

WW: “What…?”

Marvel: “Shocking. I know.” *little laugh*

WW: “But you’re a man?” *dumbfounded expression*

Marvel: “Yeah, I know, but I wasn’t always. If you want, I could tell you some stuff about the first island.”

WW: “The first Themyscira? You were alive back then?”

Marvel: “Yup.”

WW: *stares for a bit* “I’d… I’d like that a lot. Please share.”

The two spend the rest of the evening talking about all the lore about Themyscira, Diana’s mother, Diana’s aunts, the culture back then, the dialects, and so on.

Then, there was the incident with Circe. She had cast a spell on Diana, turning her into a child. After it had happened, she left and soon a mini Diana was swarmed by the leaguers.

Marvel: “Wait, so she still knows who we all are, she’s just a little kid?”

Batman: *nods head* “Correct.”

WW: *looking around as the other leaguers fawn over her cause she’s adorable*

Batman: “It also altered her mindset, making her more childish.”

WW: *spots Marvel and her eyes sparkle* “Big brother!” *runs over to Marvel and crashes into his legs hugging them*

Marvel: “Woah!” *slightly startled at her running over* “Wow, Diana, you’re still so strong.” *takes on the tone he uses to talk to Darla (aka big brother/father tone) as he leans down to pick her up*

WW: *nods head* “Yeah!”

Marvel: *moves to carry her like she’s his own daughter*

The two proceed to talk about whatever as the other JL members coo at the two looking like father and daughter. Same black hair and blue eyes. Also, Zeus was gnawing at the bars of his metaphorical cage when he saw this. His daughter was too precious. As soon as the other leaguers blinked, he took little Diana and they proceeded to go fight Mr.Mind together. They then went for ice cream afterwords. Now, they’re eating their respective cones while sitting on the edge of a building.

Marvel: “You did such a good job, Diana. That one punch at that one robot that sent it flying into three other ones was amazing.” *smiles and ruffles Diana’s hair*

WW: *giggles and licks ice cream* “Thanks, dad.”

Marvel: *pauses mid bite of ice cream* (Yes, I’m making Billy bite his ice cream)

WW: *doesn’t even realize she said that*

Zeus: “You… YOU STOLE MY DAUGHTER?!” *thunderclouds in the distance*

Okay, many magical or supernatural creatures don't have wings like humans.

But one day, during a cleanup mission, the Captain is helping a child and, to distract him while they look for his parents, they talk.

Child: You look so much like a human…

Marvel: Well, thats probably because i am a human, buddy.

Child: Are you? then… Where are your wings?

Marvel: Well… I used to have wings. They were just like my father's… but I had an accident and lost them… Good thing I can still fly without them, huh?

Junior: That's so unfair!

Cap: I know, but it's just to keep you safe! You're too young-

Junior: BULLSHIT. You started being a hero at EIGHT and used to be ALONE, without any adult supervision. And you used to fight all kinds of terror.

Cap: ... It's different, and you know it.

Israel's military announced the first steps of an operation to take over Gaza City, and has even called up tens of thousands of reservists.

Nearly one million people residing there have until October 7th 2025 to evacuate. Bombardments are significantly ramping up — hundreds of thousands of people are going to be either forcefully displaced (and crammed in a concentration camp) or murdered.

Even the BBC (which has become known for doing PR for Israel) is reporting on tented areas being cleared in the region.

Israel's stated objectives are to depopulate Gaza City, and to seek to 'eliminate the remaining guerilla forces' in that area, and to them move progressively southward.

At the beginning of March this year, Israel launched operation Gideon's Chariots, Israel has indicated at the time that this was a kind of 'final offensive' as a result of which it would achieve total victory.

And that didn't happen, and now we have this new operation and its objectives appear to be to push the remaining population increasingly south, in order to concentrate them in a camp on the Palestinian side of Gaza's border with Egypt – the Rafah area. The broader objective is to force the population of the Gaza Strip, permanently, out of the Gaza Strip.

Now many Palestinians in the Northern Gaza Strip aren't particularly keen on leaving.. because they know that if they leave its their final departure, its permanent, and they'll never be able to go back... and also, they have no safe passage because those who do leave are constantly sniped and bombarded.

And even when they arrive in what they advertised as 'safe areas' further in the south. Those refugee tents are bombed on a daily basis aswell.

So many of them may decide – that since they are going to be killed anyways, they might aswell remain in the comparative comforts of our own homes as opposed to a flimsy tent on the seaside which can either get bombed or washed away.

And Israel – in addition to this, is using the weapon of hunger, of starvation, of famine, to seek to accelerate this process of forced relocation.

Gaza City is about to be turned into a slaughterhouse, don't be silent, don't turn away from people asking for your assistance – through our shared humanity and generosity, we can help people evacuate dangerous situations and afford basic needs.
