I am writing these words with tears streaming down my face. I can no longer bear this pain. My wife is suffering from a severe deficiency in vitamins, especially vitamin D, and she urgently needs surgery to save her life. Her body is growing weaker day by day, malnutrition is stealing her strength, and I stand helpless watching her suffer.

Yeah I should’ve clarified (pun intended). They had glass in the ancient world especially in Rome and Egypt but it was basically super heated sand and color additives put in a mold and often looked opaque and kinda lumpy. Even if it was blown like it was in some regions it wouldn’t have looked like modern glass.

Clear blown glass like you’d see a modern scented candle contained in wasn’t invented until the late Middle Ages and certainly wasn’t mass produced until the 1500s and even then places like Venice that had knowledge of these techniques literally forbid their glassmakers from leaving their city or region so other people couldn’t make it, forcing artificial scarcity and making it a very expensive material.

My wife very abruptly left in early July. In doing so, she left me to maintain a household that was never meant to be supported on one income. Worse? I was on short-term disability when she left and only working two days a week. Since then, it has been a struggle. I have been on the verge of foreclosure and having my car repossessed ever since. The ex has refused to give me even one red cent thus far.

Nobody can do anything about that.

But here's my predicament: In addition to all that, last Wednesday I was served papers for a court appearance. What for? The ex (who I have not seen since July 9th and who lives in a DIFFERENT STATE NOW) was petitioning for a domestic violence protection order. I've never so much as raised my voice at her. Last Friday I drove a total of 7 hours, 320 mile round trip that cost most of a tank of gas for the Ohio county court to throw it out due to lack of evidence. I left my house at 7am and did not get home until 5:30 that evening.

Due to the wasted fuel, my car is now on empty and I have $4.53 in my bank account until Friday.

*doom music starts to play* I actually kindof like scheduling these kinds of appointments now...

but seriously Fellas, don't forget to schedule a pap smear every couple of years just in case. If you still have a cervix you can still get cervical cancer. ilu
