i learned the other day that mi’qote’s are apparently one of the most insecure races in ffxiv because of their lack of human ears   ---  so you can definitely count on Angel being shy / anxious about that fact.   i like this idea because her hairstyle totally covers up the notion that she’s missing human ears because of how thick  &  flashy it is.  she likely won’t ever put her hair into styles that show off the lack thereof unless she’s at home  &  alone.

          ‵ it’s presumptuous, ‵ he shrugged, smiling in response to her laughter and casual touch. ‵ but normally i can just immediately tell, though there might not be — outward tells as to whether someone is a hunter or not. ‵ another blink followed the first, uncharacteristically taking far too much time to process her words, eyes locking onto her helmet in order to properly articulate words. ‵ i—i’m fine! ‵ words a tremble, ‵ my team and i, we’ve just been on the road … for what seems like ages. ‵

         ´ whelp  ---  i’m more than happy to guide y’ back! ´        she offers up a friendly thumbs up  &  a wink.  roseate tail curls with enthusiasm!  to tell the truth, deep woods had a habit of spooking her more than she’d like to admit.  Angel’s yet to see a grimm in person  ---  &  she’d like to keep it that way.
