We interrupt your feed with a much needed update on all things BIINDS. It is safe to announce that our new record will be called "Breaking the Omen". It is centered around current BIINDS affiliates Klaas Von Karlos (ReVerse Bullets/KVK), Maxx Lucas (Rabia Sorda) and Nicolo Sommer. We are glad to announce that this release also marks the return of Christy Taylor (founding affiliate, present on the self-titled debut and sophomore Antiphon). With a departure from orchestral arrangements and overall stringed instruments, the album aims to be visceral and minimalistic with a sense for nostalgia, without entirely abandoning the sense for ambiance and space. In this current oversaturated landscape of music and information and a literal sea of rejections, it has been very difficult to move forward with this project. It has been a blessing to work with people who believe in it, even if sometimes there are no funds. We appreciate every single one of you. The release date for Breaking the Omen is March 8, 2019. It was a pleasure to share the stage in Lima, Peru with an old friend on drums: Dave Newman. We hope to be back with the full line-up in 2019.
