A/N: this is a special post of mine! As the amazingly talented @bigtiddiecommitee asked me of a proposal that i had wished to of asked them so much long ago! But...I was too scared n shy- BUT NOW THY IS INTODUCING A PRODUCTION FEATURING THE DROP DEAD GORGEOUS LATTE! AAAND, KAITLYN~! (oh, and sans is there too I guess-)
It was a rather calming evening in the city of Fell, said in rather, because it's a rare occasion of not hearing anything more than just occasional gunshots and only a few barkings of dogs here and there.
On the couch sat Latte, and for what was a surprise again, was that Kaitlyn was as well downstairs with them. In fact, they were laying on Latte's lap, well... not exactly sleeping to say the least, they were listening to her talk, their eyes never leaving their face, just staring. It seemed like it had been forever that the young one had been staring at Latte.
And every small flicker of the slightest movement seemed to be followed by Kaitlyn's eyes, though it didn't seem to bother the older woman.
Kaitlyn was chewing on some gum, but not once had their eyes ever left Latte's movements, or face. She was doing all of that as she was laying on her chest, her legs slightly swinging from time to time, her face as well slightly squished on one side that laid against her chest.
Sans was there as well, but seeing what was going on on the couch, and knowing Kaitlyn, he decided to remain seated on the nearby lonely loveseat, drinking his mustard, as he and Latte kept a conversation meanwhile.
The night outside was void-like, the clock showed it was way past 9 PM. Latte had seen how dark the circles under Kaitlyn's eyes were, it was dark, not normal for such a young one her age. She wanted to softly tell Kaitlyn in their maternal soft voice that it was maybe time for bed.
She knew Kaitlyn probably had those because of the work she has to do for the Gaster brothers, while she knew the Gaster brothers wouldn't exactly make a teenager do any of the dirty work, they still had bags under their eyes. Maybe... it wasn't from the work at all?
As those questions echoed in their head, whilst also listening to Sans' half-drunk sentences, she finally glanced down at the young teen, who to her surprise, now had her head turned away and was looking sideways instead of the longing gaze they had been holding. Not exactly sure if they had blinked within that period of time, she furrowed her eyebrows at that thought.
But as fast as that came, the fast as it left, her hands continuing to pat her, except moving from their head to their back, and switching between body parts they were softly patting and rubbing in a soothing manner, while Kaitlyn remained looking the other way.
Latte seemed to take notice of that, to which she glanced at Sans, who seemed to have grown his smirk more than it usually would be. Latte raised her eyebrows.
"they away in they own lil' world, she good." he reassured.
Just as that sentence left his mouth, a slightly sudden movement came from Kaitlyn moving her body halfway just to be able to see Sans properly, and stretching out their arm as much as they could, holding up their middle finger before her other free hand joined her, as she crumbled her two hands together, fiddling for a second before holding them up again and holding up two of her middle fingers and a third finger in the middle.
Earning a small giggle from Latte above her, to which Kaitlyn quickly met their gaze with hers, looking above them to the woman, their unblinking eyes staring into the white-colored eyes.
Before she lazily slumped and puffed herself backwards onto Latte's stomach, breaking their eye contact once again, before struggling with some position switching, nuzzling into Latte's chest, not before giving one final glance to Latte, and once more to the opposite direction, staring sideways after the period of a few seconds passed.
Latte slowly had their hand return to Kaitlyn's small back, and began rubbing small circles on it, as she and Sans continued their conversation, as Latte took a small sip of their beer.
As time seemed to be passing in the blink of an eye, Latte hadn't realized they might have drunk a little too much of their drink, realization weakly yet quickly reaching her as she glanced at the table to the bottle that was filled up not even an hour ago, now nearly chugged to the brink.
The realization that the weight weighing them down, that felt weird at first like they had a weighted blanket on them, made her groan while holding their forehead, quickly realizing that Kaitlyn was still on them. Oh goodness! How could she forget about the sweetbean? She felt so irresponsible-
Her frantic thinking was cut short as she heard the familiar slowed breathing, to which she slowly and carefully leaned their head closer to be met with a sleeping Kaitlyn that had fallen asleep on top of 'em.
"atleast she' finally sleeping..." she sighed out contently.
Sans' rumbling chuckle caught their attention.
"she trusts ya, ya know tha'?"
Latte raised an eyebrow once again. Sans was mumbling many things before this for the past hour, all of the time he spoke newly was a complete different thing from what he spoke about before.
"Red, maybe it's time to go to bed for you too." she suggested, but their face and expression showed that they were really close to dragging the chubby skeleton to their own bed, looking like he was about to pass out.
"n..nah, m' serious, bout' Kaitlyn." he slurred, but his tone somehow seemed balanced as well, trying to get his words out while the effects of his drink were trying to get to him. "she like a dog,"
Latte let out a sigh, seemingly already on really short patience for his ramblings at this time of the hour already.
"red, what the hell are you rambling about?" she decided to yet ask that, even though his answer wouldn't really make anything he had said before make sense either.
"dogs have this... thing, when ya pet em' they always be looking at chu'." he hiccuped, swallowing, gathering himself with his posture. "but if they trust ya', they let chu' pet em without them having to look at ya'.."
Latte, despite her annoyance to Red's shenanigans, yet continued petting Kaitlyn's hair, glancing with a caring look towards the sleeping teen.
"dont be stupid, red..." she started, her hands petting slowly becoming more and more slow. "they arent a dog." as she hadn't noticed how she was gazing more into the back of their head. "she's a puppy."
