It's so awesome cool and progressive that the second result of looking up a trans woman on this site is a dedicated hate blog that specifically states "DNI if you defend this trans woman"
But it's okay guys, they put a sign saying "don't harass the tranny! Just let me collect all the reasons that she is unforgivable in one place :)"
It is incredibly telling that there isnt a massive anti-oneyplays fandom despite Smiling Friends being an equally popular show among tumblr queers and those guys actually doing everything gooseworx has been accused of and more "She joked about being the next Shadman!" wow that's crazy. Chris O'Neil housed Shadman and actively defended all the vile shit he did on twitter, including lolicon of real actual children. Why is nobody talking about this. Where is the anti oneyplays fan club. Or anti GameGrumps. Or (and this is a hot one) anti Dropout. Why is there only a hate club for the tranny. Why are the hate clubs only ever for the trannies? But of course, "DNI if you make it about her being trans, thats totally not why she became our target"
I would appreciate it if people reblogged this version that specifically calls out that none of the cis men in the same industry are held to the same standard even when they've done worse, continue to do worse and have not shown any sign of changing or regretting their past actions besides "I stopped saying the n word because people would get mad at me" and not because it's racist.
For god's sake the same people that deride Gooseworx on every social media site will sometimes straight up have Max "hotdiggitydemon" "Steven Jewniverse" "Steven N***averse" "Sans from Undertale calls Papyrus the nword" "Still actively racist" Gilardy profile pics with zero self reflection. And I'm supposed to take anything ever said about "holding trans women accountable " seriously? Gimme a break
Still actively racist? Where? I've heard that he's a Zionist which would also be bad (though I only vaguely remember this claim now so I can't say if it's true) but I've never heard anyone say that he's saying racist things to this day.
Kinda related to this, I will also note that Gooseworx is also someone who has not shown any sign of regret for her past actions, specifically the racist things she said. In fact, she barely addressed them. She made a really weak lackluster apology ("I'm sorry for everything I've said on streams," didn't even address a lot of the other stuff) after waiting a few days, sitting back, and doing nothing while Black fans in her community were being harassed for being "uppity." The only time she actually made a statement was a stupid joke statement about how racists should shoot themselves, again, after the controversy had moved into real life because of Plainrock.
I'm not saying there should be a hatebase stalker blog. I hate it too, and it is also not fair that some people who are as bad as or worse than Gooseworx are not receiving this level of attention. But not once do you actually make it clear that Gooseworx is also barely apologetic and has done nothing to show remorse for what she did and said.
I love how in just one post you have combined the defense of a cis man who was actively worse in every possible way and a claim that actually the trans woman isnt getting enough pushback for her past actions. All while saying "oh but I could not possibly support harassment of her. How such a hate fandom appeared is an unsolvable mystery"
Max Gilardy was not just "edgy", he was someone who drew racist carichatures involving racial slurs and then harass black people that would take offence with that. He had so many nword moments, even in recent memory (the now deleted gold digger tweet. It was an unfinished rhyme. You get the rest) that it is hard to even remember them all. He has only stopped actively engaging with right wing accounts, drawing tasteless political cartoons and posting an image of a fleshlight titled "ideal woman" within what, the last 2 years? Way after he has supposedly "regretted his past and apologised". Or when he made a blatantly racist depiction of Shigeru Miyamoto for his video about joycon drift complete with a slit eyes and a violently racist accent.
And are you serious? "He's racist" "Well I only heard that he's a zionist" Yeah that's what I said.
Remember when he made a blatantly racist depiction of Shigeru Miyamoto for his video about joycon drift complete with a slit eyes and a violently racist accent? That was in *2021*, years after his supposed change for the better
Or the fact that his Apu video is to this day used to shut up both racialised Voice Actors speaking out against racism in the industry (like ProZD, who to this day receives harassment for that very reason) as well as many minorities speaking out against racist stereotypes in popular media (primarily those from India)
And yet despite all that all he really had to do to clean his image was literally redesign his sona to be more goofy and make a cartoon show where he has fun with his ghost buddy.
And if you ever bring up the fact that he never really changed and the shift was only because he felt the winds change an army of 12 thousand queer teenagers with his profile pic and chuds with pepe pfps will show up in your comments to say that you're just a hysterical bitch who doesnt believe people can change, that his video on Apu is actually correct on everything, you're just overreacting and that Voice Actors of colour wanting to have more opportunities to actually voice people of their own ethnicities instead of a white guy doing a racist accent are all just asking for DEI
"I love how in just one post you have combined the defense of a cis man" stop. You didn't comprehend the post. I was asking for information about claims that were entirely new to me. I only knew the Steven Jewniverse/related controversies before this. Should I have used the /genq tone indicator? I didn't think I needed it, but regardless, I suggest you reframe your mindset and stop assuming all questioning is coming from a negative place. Thanks.
"And are you serious? 'He's racist' 'Well I only heard that he's a zionist' Yeah that's what I said." If you meant to say he was a Zionist, which I already knew, that's what you would've said. Zionists are racists, but all racists aren't Zionists. Because I know most people would've said Zionist if they wanted to refer to him as a Zionist, my assumption was that you were referring to other instances of racism, not his Zionism. Still, my bad.
I also, explicitly, did not say that Gooseworx is not getting enough pushback. That's a brand new sentence. I said she, as in Gooseworx, has not done enough to rectify her wrongdoings. My focus is strictly on Gooseworx and the actions she took; not once did I talk about other people's reactions to her at all outside of the hate blog being bad. The actions she takes (or doesn't take) and how people react to them are different concepts, the latter being something that I do not intend to predict. So I ask you to decouple those concepts, and to engage with what I'm actually saying, not make up brand new sentences that I never even hinted at. These concepts are not inextricably linked. I could've been writing this, totally in agreement with you that Gooseworx has seen too much pushback and that people need to give her room to make up for what she did.
And that's because I wanted to be that person when I first heard about this. I actually wanted to be forgiving, and I'm partly writing this out of disappointment in Gooseworx that she couldn't even do that bare minimum. I still remember waiting for her to say something, anything, when people were attacking Black fans in the community for their beliefs. So, until I say "she needs more pushback," you have no grounds to say I believe Gooseworx is not getting enough pushback.
But, I do, and I'm confused as to why you think her lackluster responses to her own racism should not receive pushback. And that's why I want to ask what your primary concern is. Is it for Gooseworx to be held accountable by an upset public in a reasonable manner? Is it for people to have consistent standards? Or is it to not criticize Gooseworx at all because she's just a wittle baby? Because I wanted to think it was the 2nd option, but your response to my criticisms of Gooseworx being "a claim that actually the trans woman isnt getting enough pushback for her past actions," while constantly avoiding addressing Goose's own actions and inaction is making me lean towards the 3rd option. Why don't you want to talk about what Gooseworx actually did?
I'm still right to criticize you for assuming how I feel about her actions. It's bad form in discussions like this. But you're right that I think the level of pushback she has received is not enough given how little accountability she is willing to take. I want to see people talking about this until she and all the other people you have mentioned, like OneyPlays, Game Grumps, Max, and maybe Dropout (though I don't know what they did) are actually apologetic and actually do something to fix it. Pushback is not the same thing as harassment, hate fandoms, and "snark communities," and me criticizing Gooseworx for what she did does not mean that I want to funnel attention towards unproductive hate sinks that, frankly, aren't even good at their job and make wildly misleading, bullshit claims. Nor will I let other people off the hook.
Thank you.
My god. This is obviously just about her being trans. You're contempt for her is seriously evident and you sound like every racist and misogynist when talking about Kamala Harris. What type of thing do you want her to do for her supposed past actions? Continously grovel at the internet whenever she's talking online?
An actual apology would be nice. I talked about how bad her apology was earlier, but if you continue to insist that my demands for her are unreasonable, I can go into exactly what makes it a bad apology.
Yes, by this point, I'd say I have contempt for her. Should I, a Black person, not have contempt for someone who can't even do the bare minimum in owning up for her actions, when I have literally outlined how bare the bare minimum is? She couldn't even do that? Seriously? In this world, respect is earned.
What about my tags? My tags are mirroring the tags that the original poster was using, tags that the original poster has been using since before I even started.
(EDIT) Can you address what it is Gooseworx actually did?
1. Meh. If she wasn't a trans woman you wouldn't hound her for this stuff because it never ends with just an apology. You'll just find another reason to keep your contempt going.
2. Sorry. I don't really believe you're black since a lot of people just say that on the internet to keep a discourse going since they believe that gives them more credibility.
3. Tags that really indicate what this "discourse" really is for you.
Can you just admit you didn't read any of my posts? Do you think that after she apologizes, everyone needs to forgive her or they're the problem? People can feel however they want to feel about the things she did to hurt them. I don't like contempt, I try to be a charitable, forgiving person, but I can only do that when I have reasons to do that. Hell, when this first happened, I didn't even think she was racist - just ignorant. It was her inaction after all of this that made me conclude she was racist. If she had apologized, I would've been willing to forgive. I really hope you have people in your life who can clock you for being entitled enough to shame minorities who are hurt enough to not just accept apologies. It's incredibly clear what you are.
Not only are you being entitled on behalf of a white woman, somehow you're entitled enough to think you can tell me my race. Good fucking riddance.
Lol. What apologies do you need her to say? She already did apologize and be silenced. Seems like there's already a consequence for her. She got lolcowed from social media.
If you think I'm shaming minorities for saying that their obsession with a trans woman is what fuels their hate campaign then you're just stupid.
Just because you called her a white woman doesn't erase her being trans. News flash, people are still bigoted towards them. You sound like those misogynists who put "white" before women to talk about their sexist rhetoric with plausible deniability.

At the official Tales event “Tales of Festival” held the other day, I was able to see Sorey and Mikleo again for the first time in a long while. I never imagined that something so miraculous would happen in 2026. I’m truly delighted and so happy—I still can’t believe it.
I absolutely love seeing Sorey and Mikleo living a laid-back, peaceful life. But lately, I feel like my drawings of them always end up looking the same.It made me lose confidence, so I haven't been able to draw them for a while.
Even so, Sorey and Mikleo are such special characters to me that I could say they’re my absolute favorites in my entire life. I’m truly grateful to the entire production team who brought them to life.
Ugh... I was reminded again of Jay Nakamura's terrible writing in Secret Six. When will people realize that if they want the character to be featured in other books, writing him like that is terrible.
The whatever love triangle they're trying to force into the relationship will never not be because of the stupid infatuation with a shitty trope.
Jay not being featured in any comics recently certainly proved that his character suffered under Maine's writing of him. God it's so boring.

So, I'm going to overanalyze Sandrone's voice line about Pantalone bc I think it says something about him.
It's funny but the interesting thing about this anecdote Sandrone tells it's how Pantalone reacted. He just insulted her. But why did he do it? Not only that but it was so obvious he trated her as rude. He did it Bc Sandrone asking Pantalone about why he favored Dottore's research funds over hers was her saying Pantalone is being emotional. It's her saying Pantalone is not doing his work well and he is not being fair, he is favoring someone bc of the relationship they have. And this is an insult for Pantalone, even if it's true, but he wouldn't admit it.
Something, something about Pantalone doing his best to hide his emotions but failing. He is more emotional than he wants to admit. This reminded me of Arlecchino's voice line about him. I know the voice lines are 100% trustworthy, but it says something about how others perceive the other.
And it's interesting how Arlecchino would say that Pantalone despite being mostly rational, he is actually pretty emotional, that his actions are actually governed by his emotions and how he would think he can control these emotions when he can't. And not only his reaction to Sandrone is a proof about this, but his relationship with Dottore is THE proof about it.
Dottore was surprised that Pantalone was physically in Sumeru to help him. Of course Dottore was thinking Pantalone was just doing it bc of the elixir. Pantalone's response is interesting bc it's him saying he doesn't want Dottore to die but then he said that Dottore already had a long life. Pantalone already knows Dottore was going to die, so him being there, it's bc he doesn't want him to die, not bc of the elixir, but bc he truly doesn't want Dottore to die. At the same time, he is there to help, to gain more time with Dottore. It's an emotional decision to be there.
He already talked about how much he is losing with that plan and with the relationship they have. Yet, he is still there with Dottore. Even if he tries to tell Dottore and himself a lie about transactions, his actions show the emotions behind it. He feels he is losing, but at the same time, what he gains from the relationship is just being with Dottore. It's the emotions acting.
"Friends" but he say that their friendship isn't the most sincere. Yet he proceeded to basically say that it's them against the world, that they share a path. Indeed, their relationship isn't the most sincere bc Pantalone tries to mask his feelings with a facade of "transactions". But his feelings are sincere, those feelings he tries to hide are purely sincere. And he acts on those feelings even if he wouldn't want it.
This moment is another interesting example. Pantalone just blames Dottore for his actions. But what he said is the interesting part: He said he hardly can defy Dottore's demands. Of course, he said it to play the victim, but maybe there is some truth in his words. After all, he is there helping Dottore with something he asked for. And it's helping him with something he doesn't like at all. He also approves Dottore's research funds over others, he also let him do experiments, even on himself; he didn't argue that much when he eliminated the other segments, he didn't even argue that much when the segments dissected Zandik. Maybe he can't defy Dottore at all when he asks or expects something for him, but not bc he can't, it's bc he cares for Dottore enough to want to help him and to decided to be by his side. And to respect what Dottore wants. Not as a victim, but by his own decision that it's born from his feelings about him.
It's not that he doesn't argue, he talks to Dottore, he talks to him bc he cares about him. That's why he would point out things like how Dottore' selfishness also affects himself.
His emotions slip in certain moments, like in this moment. It was his way of saying "you don't have to do this". It's a mix between trying to respect Dottore's desires and also holding his own emotions, yet they slip.
Everything he does for Dottore is him being emotional.
Is there a Deltarune video out there that ACTUALLY talks about the plot and themes of the chapter and not just hyperfocusing on the lore?
I swear, the amount of youtubers talking about Deltarune like it's only there to validate their theories and not to tell a story with a theme is baffling. It's Undertale all over again with the hyper-obsession on the lore and not enough about it's theme.

Muslims didn’t originally call Jerusalem “Al-Quds.”
For centuries they called it Bayt al-Maqdis (بيت المقدس) — a direct Arabic translation of the Hebrew Beit HaMikdash (“House of the Sanctuary / Jewish Temple”).
The 10th-century Muslim geographer al-Maqdisi (literally “the one from Bayt al-Maqdis”) used it as the city’s name. Early Islamic sources even called the Dome of the Rock itself Bayt al-Maqdis.
This 1,000-year-old Arabic inscription from Nuba (near Hebron) proves it beyond doubt:
“This territory ... is an endowment to the Rock of Bayt al-Maqdis and the al-Aqsa Mosque, as it was dedicated by the Commander of the Faithful, Umar ibn al-Khattab”
They built their shrine on the ruins of the Jewish Temple — and openly named it after the Jewish Temple.
Modern Temple Mount denial isn’t history.
It’s blatant political erasure.
Sorry not sorry that Jewish indigeneity became so inconvenient for your narrative.

Who is Taller?
My headcanon is that epilogue Mikleo is taller than Sorey by a trivial amount, just enough to be obnoxious about it.

Zaveid, the Wind, Connections, and the Messenger of Love
「恋の妖精さん」 風はいろいろな物を運び、生態系に影響する。それが風の天族になると……
“Messenger of Love” Wind can carry anything, and even affect the ecosystem. And when wind seraphim are involved, it’s a different story…
“The wind can bring many beguiling pleasures your way. A letter, a melody… Even the heady perfume of love!”
Seraphim have their own blessings, whether they know [are conscious] of their own blessings or not. And their blessings are always related to their elements.
It is also said, as a joke, that Zaveid’s blessing is “matchmaking (mainly for himself)” (“縁結び(主に自分に対しての)”).
I know this may seem so sudden but I unironically love how vague Zesty can be sometimes, that every time I come back to it, I will probably learn something new about it.
And tbh that’s probably intended too. The main reason I probably keep coming back to this game no matter how much time has passed is because I agree with the way Hase Yuuta (the director of the game) thinks.
From his interview in the Complete Guide:
説明しすぎるとかっこ悪いというか興をそいでしまうので、大事なところは秘めています。表情で描いたり、背中で語らせたりと演出には気をつけたかったので、「深読みかな?」と思うくらい読んでいただけるとうれしいです。
If I explain it too much, it would be uncool, or rather, not intriguing, so I hide the important parts. I wanted to be careful with the direction, such as depicting it with facial expressions or body language [i.e. through the way they act, not what they say; speaking with their backs], so I would be happy if you were to read into it while thinking “Am I reading into it too much?”
Also earlier, from his interview with Famitsu:
最後に、ゲーム全体についてお伝えさせてください。作中のあるシーンで、スレイが言う「自分で見つけるのが探検の醍醐味じゃないか」というセリフ。ここにこだわって、今回のゲームを作り上げた面があります。バトルも、探索も、そして物語も、ゲームのあちこちにお楽しみや解釈のヒントが散りばめられていますから、ぜひ皆さんのお好きなように進めて、最後まで楽しんでください!
Finally, let me tell you something about the game as a whole. In one scene, there’s a line where Sorey says “Isn’t discovering things by yourself the best part of exploration?” This is one of the aspects of the game that we focused on. There are hints of interpretation, of fun things that you can look forward to, scattered here and there in the game: in the battles, exploration, and even the story, so please enjoy the game the way you want to play it until the end!
It’s things like the game (or anyone involved in the game, in any interview, ever) never really brings to your attention that Sorey (or humans in general) being right-handed and Mikleo (or seraphim in general) being left-handed actually explains why Sorey stands on the right side and Mikleo on the left, except for the time Sorey was blind on the right eye that Mikleo covers his right side (in cutscenes, in skits, in battles…), and that Sorey moving to Mikleo’s left side on the night before the final battle scene as a way to ask his support once again. But that’s just one example.
I love how this idea is reflected in Sorey as the protagonist too. I mean, they mentioned about his quote above, but there’s something alluring about a game that doesn’t really explain itself, lol, like uncovering the mysteries surrounding the world it takes place in (it helps that Sorey is naturally curious about the world around him… his curiosity is contagious LOL). This might seem like I excuse what might seem like poor worldbuilding/storytelling to others but that’s exactly why I find Zesty fascinating the way I don’t find a lot of things are lol.
tl;dr I love how there’s probably a lot of things not set in stone by the creators in Zesty and I wish there were more stuff like it because there are not a lot of stuff quite like it. I love to read too much into stuff, let me do it.

Having a sormik breakdown now that i had time to relax and used it to reread the final volume properly and take my time absorbing it fully.
But THIS.
The theme of that one person who is there to support you and guide you in the truest sense is a big theme throughout the final section of the story. Its what drove Michael to despair, it was what made Heldalf finally lose himself and it something that's also brought up again and again with Sorey.
To a great extent, Rose and the Seraphim all help Sorey on his journey and his growth, particularly Rose and Zaveid who allow him to accept death and the harsher side of war and Mikleo who is constantly beside him every step of the way sharing his burdens willingly.
But then Sorey and Alisha have this conversation about a guiding light, and Alisha states that Sorey's guiding light would be a "gentle star who's light can reach anywhere".
And Heldalf refers to Selene, the woman he loved as the "small shining light in the darkness" because her memory broke through to him even in his corrupted state.
And then you have all of Mikleo's post canon moments marked by Sorey's presence showing his role as a guiding light in his life as well. And while Sorey is also a guiding light for the world at large, Mikleo is the only one actively looking at it out of everyone. Like everyone is under his guidance but Mikleo is the one actively seeking out the light.
And there's also the moment with these two at the end of the main game which has Sorey literally finding Mikleo and saving him. Note how Sorey saved Mikleo and is surrounded by light and has a really gentle silhouette. Meanwhile, if Sorey is a seraph now, which I highkey believe he is implied to be considering all the hints dropped all over the game, he remembered Mikleo and looked for him after waking up. So yea, they are each other's "gentle star who's light can reach anywhere".
And if that's not enough evidence, then there's literally Asteria which has corrupted LoC Sorey still having a huge soft spot for Mikleo.
From the very start of their story to the very end their primary goal was always to be able to live out their dreams together. They dont plan to meet up after everything is over, they plan on making a new dream and live it together. You may not see it as romantic but its undeniably one of the most important bonds in the story and they mean more than the world to each other and nobody can deny that.
Edit-
There's also the fact that Sorey literally tells Mikleo that as long as he remembers their dream will live on. That's another aspect setting Mikleo up as a guiding light in Sorey's life.
The Tale of Heroines & Sorey’s Love Life: Solved
In an older post, I searched out into the wild in hopes of finding out something the root of a certain quote concerning ToZ’s heroine controversy. “Are Rose and Alisha considered heroines?” “Is there officially recognized romance in Zestiria?” “Is Sorey “too pure” for women?” Well, it is with great pride that I can actually say I have come back with something to show!
Thanks to @silent-shanin owning the Tales of Zestiria Complete Guide, I finally have a direct, textual proof of the quote that confirms that this dated post and translation by @kiraleshoot is 100% accurate and legitimate!
The full page text is as presented:
Q : There’s not much romance this time, is there?
A : While romance is a very fun element in terms of character drama, this time we chose to water it down, or shall we say, put it on the low priority list. We want Sorey to be a character who grew up pure, chasing his dreams about history and ruins. If we put a prurient man-woman relationship in there, it might just upset the direction we want to go with him. Still, ‘Boy Meets Girl’ is still a powerful introduction to a story in the end, so he meets Alisha, and in meeting her learns about the world. However, Alisha is a normal human, and she has to face the reality that she cannot measure up to Sorey. The girl he meets after that, Rose, is less of a ‘heroine’ than Sorey’s 'foil’. Mikleo, Lailah and the others would tend to think about their problems the same way as Sorey does, so Rose is the character who views things differently, assisting Sorey who has just learned about his limits from his parting with Alisha. We made her into a character that, at the end of the story, you can see her accepting what Sorey leaves her with, and know that she will certainly continue it and keep it alive.
So there you have it. An official answer from the game devs about the lack of romance in Zestiria as well as their reasoning for not pairing Sorey up with any of the girls in the traditional Tales fashion. It’s also a more comprehensive look at the roles Rose and Alisha were meant to play as well.
As a disclaimer: I would like to reiterate that I did NOT dig this quote up in hopes of inciting fandom drama. I wanted to find the direct source of the quote for the sake of proof and fandom archiving. Do what you like with this information, I just wanted the existence of the quote and it’s legitimacy to be known.
