what i wanted from dog ownership was to just have like, a Dog. and thats exactly what this is. you can see this animal all over the world looking exactly like this for like 10,000 years

the 'jennings dog', an ancient roman marble that i strongly suspect is actually a 17th or 18th century forgery, but one of the all-time greatest dog artworks ever. looks exactly like churchgrim (the ears are either docked on the original dog or have worn off/broken off in the sculpt, but otherwise). the perfect portrait of a dog going "duhhhHHHHH". it's even scanned onto sketchfab if someone wants to 3d print it. i wish i had a full size plaster replica
