Furthermore if you want to make a serious statement about Tumblr’s terrible decision DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT AFTER YOU’VE TRANSFERRED YOUR CONTENT.

Tumblr is only as profitable as the accounts that are open and active. Please delete your account upon moving your content, or if you can’t move your content delete it anyway. A loss of accounts will show Tumblr is not a good asset to potential investors and that is what matters most to the owners of this application.
