many of my faves are not ones i could really argue for the quality over someone else's faves, it's about sentimentality and vibes as well as just my general enjoyment when playing through it

like i wouldnt argue that sonic adventure is better than sonic adventure 2 i just enjoy the process of playing sonic adventure a lot more than playing sonic adventure 2 and that's not something that's easy to put into words fully

same with red rescue team over like, explorers of sky, or twilight princess over wind waker/ocarina of time/whatever (though all of those games i must say are very good games regardless. i like them all)

#the indies are ofc even harder to compare i wouldnt know where to begin #most of the ones i listed dont really have the story as the main focus admittedly #but also story is usually one of the less important things in the game for me #its like. gameplay and characters are more important for me. but even fun characters cant save a game whose gameplay genuinely just drags #(vns are obviously exempt from this as well as games where the gameplay is just really basic and just serves to portray the story)#ooc #ran talks about games

"favorite indie game" uhhh great question idk what counts as an indie game sometimes but i think cult of the lamb is pretty cool, and also chrono ark and holocure and undertale, and i havent played it in a while but i do have nearly 800 hours in 100% orange juice and i suppose that counts as an indie game

can i count labyrinth of touhou 2 as well because that's genuinely one of my favorite games in general

also i can't not mention my classic fave rpgmaker games such as yume nikki/ib/misao/mad father which you could probably say changed my brain chemistry as a child even though they might seem mostly pretty simple nowadays

if we're talking my favorite games overall not necessarily indie its legend of zelda twilight princess, sonic adventure, pokemon mystery dungeon red rescue team, and tales of the abyss

Seeing Furina get a bit flustered was so cute. It was like he was falling in love even harder. Moments like this made him feel like the luckiest guy in the world. Though Furina was right. He was going to need both hands to get her top off. He sighs and slides his hand up Faux's body to give her chest a quick squeeze before releasing her.

Now he's quickly going about undoing each of Furina's buttons. He's got to be cautious to avoid damaging everything but its tough given how excited he is to take it off. Like unwrapping a present on Christmas. Except this present is the prettiest girl you could ever ask for. Soon her top is slipped off of her too.

Before she can second-guess herself, she pulls the glove off-- as she said, her hand is covered in dark pink scarring, from her fingers to about halfway across her palm.

"Primordial seawater, if you're wondering. I guess I should be glad it didn't just dissolve my hand outright. It probably could've. Oh, but um, I'm good on water! Faux?"

"Me? Oh, I don't need water." She steps closer to Furina to give her a pat on the head-- but once Furina has been stripped down to her underwear, Faux snaps her fingers and her outerclothes just disappear entirely. Leaving her in the same state of dress.

"I'm made of water."

"Oh my god, you were just waiting this whole time to show off that trick, huh? You whore(affectionate)."

Faux does not seem bothered by the namecalling.

For the record, they're both in rather basic yet cute, practically matching underwear-- the only difference being that Furina's is black and Faux's is white. Faux probably just copied Furina's.

for the record to this day i really like undertale and think its a very good game despite the um... whats the most appropriate way to put it... overexposure

it's nice to feel rewarded with different scenes and dialogue for playing a certain way even if the system is a bit basic

and i found it especially interesting that it was done through the combat system in a linear turn based rpg, rather than something like open world games or other choice based games where it's more about which missions you choose to do or just choosing an option from a list

to be honest i think when i was told your choices didnt really matter in the same vein that they did in undertale i kinda lost interest
