Lately, I've been thinking: what if my company Retrostalgia was a distribution company putting out Blu-Rays of classic movies from the 70s, 80s, 90s and early 2000s?
Using my skills of FireAlpaca and looking over other Blu-Ray back covers, I decided to put out this Retrostalgia release Blu-Ray cover of Sarafina! from 1992, under their label Best of the 90s.
And just so you know, there are no special features on this release. Only a 1920x1080 digital remaster of the movie, with scene selections and subtitles. I just want to keep it simple.
Warner Bros. Discovery were legitimately expecting us to react like this when we found Lola Bunny was going to be voiced by Zendaya in Space Jam: A New Legacy.
Unfortunately, Zendaya was severely miscast in the role. It's another example of hiring celebrities to voice animated characters in big-budget animated movies.
While the early 2000s weren't perfect by any means, they certainly were different.
The style, the aesthetic, the music, the internet…
Listening to some Y2K music is just the best thing to do while you disconnect from the real world and all of its troubles.
