for this particular academy the jump was 4 meters or so. I'm used to heights so it didn't bother me at all.

There is a surprising density of different climbing techniques one can train on this feature. It's a bit high to do a dynamic climb upwards, but I can manage downwards. The overhang made me think about the transfer to the hanging position.

Reaching for the other side of the wall is a kind of cheaty way to make this easier than a regular wall climb and harder than when there is a pole at the top. Climbup training is my focus for the near future.

I was a little hesitant doing the roll but I broke my height record so I'm happy. The dynamic pole mount was rather quick too.

These strides are interesting because one must alternate between one or two steps. I had to alter my hand technique when rolling but it still works fine.
