We had an amazing time touring the temples at Tulum today. This watch tower looks out over the coral reef—the second longest in the world—and acted as a lighthouse signalling a safe spot to come ashore. This beach was a vital hub in the indigenous trade routes of the Mayan people. I've been staying at Condesa Haus the past few days working on a couple neighbourhood guides sponsored by the hotel. The room is quite lovely but the bathroom, original to the 1939 home, is by far the most stunning part. All tiles and fixtures are original!
