Walk the Dog
spencefausauâ:
âWeâll figure out a bit of a schedule for the next two weeks before you leave. Itâll have to be in two week intervals because sometimes things come up and I wouldnât want to leave you confused if you show up and for some reason Jedi isnât here.â She said with a soft laugh and a shrug.
She moved to a cupboard and pulled out a completely new shaver, and placed it on the edge of the tub, before turning to Monica wish a kind smile on her face. âTake your time okay? Relax as much as you want. I want you to feel good after this.â The last thing Spencer wanted was for Monica to feel like she needed to rush through the process, because as much as this was to get clean, it was also for her to feel better. And there was a bit difference between those two things. She reached out and squeezed Monicaâs wrist gently, before heading out of the bathroom and closing the door behind her.Â
She moved back to the couch and turned the show back on, patting the couch and letting Jedi hop up onto the couch next to her and snuggle up. She was content to wait as long as Monica was going to take, not in a rush for her to leave at all. Monica was going to get as much TLC as Spencer could push on her before she was pushing too much. She wasnât sure what it was about Monica that she felt so drawn to, but she couldnât deny that she felt something with her that she hadnât felt about others that she had helped.
âThat sounds perfect,â Monica agreed with a smile.  âYeah, that would just be awkward - Iâd be worrying that Jedi had somehow got out without me or something.â
It was hard to quantify just how much Spencer had done for her, or what all of the little gestures meant to her. When sheâd been thrown out of her own house she was sure sheâd never experience kindness again, and for the most part sheâd been right - until a certain blonde had wandered into her life.  âThank you,â she smiled brightly and honestly, accepting the shaver and the gentle squeeze before making her way into the bathroom and starting to run the water.
Her body wasnât hers - not really, it never had been. But Monica avoided the mirror as she undressed, the last few layers falling away limply. They were down to mere scraps of fabric now, making it difficult for her to keep herself tucked properly and leaving her constantly worried, but it was all she had. Whimpering slightly at the feeling of a hot bath, she slid into the tub and began the thorough process of getting clean.
