And you can boil it, but you need to make sure that the bottom of the log does not come into contact with the pan, and flip it a lot. 15 mins max, but be careful, I have done it with plants and it was ok, but never tried a log.

3rd option; some fish stores sell plastic decor cleaner; couple of drops of that stuff in a bowl of hot water, sponge and clean the decor, rinse ALOT (don’t want that stuff in your tank) and you’re good to go.

Wanted to try something entirely new to me. I’ve never done a mixed medium piece before; this is definitely not as refined as I’d have liked it to be. I am not sure if I like or dislike how the resin made the translucent fins sort of blend into the canvas.  Was definitely fun trying something completely out of my comfort zone. This is a 5x7 canvas.
