Hello, this is CNU. I'm not so certain if everyone is doing well in this hot weather.

I'm not sure where to start… and indeed it's the first time in a very long time that I'm sharing an update with you all, and I'm careful and afraid to share this about me at the moment.

Recently, I've spent some time looking back at various times in the past and organizing my thoughts. Because most of those times involved B1A4 and fans, and there was not a single memory which I do not cherish. That's why I feel even more apologetic towards the fans. Now is the time when I wish to respect and support the choices of my dearest colleagues of the past ten years.

Because of my clingy nature, it was difficult to accept it; I was disappointed and miserable. But now I want to suppress those feelings.

Moving forward, I must believe that all of these events are a new hope that we are creating with our fans, and quietly go back to doing my work. Through this period of time, which has felt like a painful growth spurt that I'm experiencing for the first time, I have been able to discover the worth of a number of important things I feel I must protect.

From now on, I will cry, laugh and find happiness during these times that I spend with all of you, and in order to achieve this, I will lean on our fans' shoulders just as I've always done. Without rushing, I want to try and find happiness in the little things, step by step with my dongsaengs.

You did well today...For today and for tomorrow, let's be happy... I hope you can support us like this.

Hello BANA~ This is Baro.

Over half of this year has already passed by and the hot summer has begun. I think time has passed by quickly. It's now been 10 years since I came here to Seoul, aimlessly, to chase after my dreams and it's already been 7 years since I have been working hard after becoming B1A4 and meeting with BANA.

I promised that I would always bring you only happiness, and I'm not sure if our BANAs were always happy during the times with me. Looking back now, I don't think I was always able to keep my promises well, so I feel very disappointed and apologetic.

For me, all the times spent with our BANAs were so happy and they are precious memories to me. Though I was lacking, I thank you for always supporting me and being my strengh. Also, I'm thankful to my members who were understanding of my decision that was made after discussions and thinking for a long time. I'm even more sorry and nothing but thankful to our three members who are now protecting B1A4.

No matter where I am, I will work hard while cherishing all the precious memories made together with BANA and our members in my heart. I will continue to work hard until the day that I can meet you as B1A4's Baro. I will always think of BANAs. Once again, I am sincerely thankful and I love you. BANA!! - Baro -

B1A4 Jinyoung's message to BANAs. Hello. This is B1A4's Jinyoung. To all of the BANAs who worried for us and sent us your encouragement, I am incredibly greatful and thankful. During the past week, I have been thinking a lot while reading each and every one of the messages that BANAs have sent. How would I be able to express just how thankful I am toward the BANAs who have stayed by B1A4's side over the past seven years? I think that B1A4 does not belong to any one person. B1A4 belongs only to BANAs who have supported and cheered for us throughout these seven years. It is because of you that B1A4 was able to exist and we were able to sing. More than anything, I wanted to deliver these words to you. If our BANAs don't forget B1A4 and continue to love us, then no matter how many months or years it takes, B1A4 will be able to find you again with even greater music and a more mature image. I felt great pain when I read BANAs' messages about having "false hope".. I will work very hard so that any worries of a "false" hope can transform to become "hope" with a dream for a brighter tomorrow. [I'm Sandeul] BANA Hello, this is Sandeul… I have no idea how I should start this, nor do I know the words to say… First, I'm very apologetic and very sorry about the fact that we cannot give you a definite answer, which has caused frustration and gloom… Even among ourselves we are still talking it out. Even though it's frustrating, it's a situation where we can't do much except wait. We are unable to say anything, yet our BANAs still send us limitless love. For that, I'm once again very apologetic and sorry… Whatever the news may be, we will do our best to let BANA be the first ones to know. To our BANAs who always love us, thank you so much and I'm sorry...

Five-member boy group B1A4′s Jinyoung (Jung Jin Young, 27) and Baro (Cha Sun Woo, 26) have decided to leave their agency. 

After a long discussion leading up to the 30th, it has been reported that Jinyoung and Baro have ultimately made the decision to not renew their contracts with WM Entertainment. On the other hand, the other members Sandeul (Lee Jung Hwan, 26), CNU (Shin Dong Woo, 27) and Gongchan (Gong Chan Shik, 25) have decided to continue their relationship with WM through a contract renewal. 

Although B1A4′s contracts did mean to end on April 23rd with their seventh anniversary, their contracts were extended until the end of June for further discussions of contract renewal. 

According to a broadcasting official, “With the end of their contracts coming up, all members had a final discussion with their agency, and members Jinyoung and Baro have decided not to re-sign.” As well, “We are aware that WM Entertainment will respect each member’s decisions for their futures. The two leaving members have already received numerous love-calls from other agencies, and talks of contact with actor management companies have also come up.” 

Although two members will be leaving their agency, there is still a large possibility that the remaining members will continue on as B1A4. 

The group may either take an approach of allowing for open possibilities for future team activities (like Girls’ Generation when a few members did not re-sign with their label), or the remaining members may decide on a way to keep the team going themselves. 

B1A4 debuted in 2011 and have released a number of hits including ‘What is Happening’, ‘Solo Day’, ‘Lonely’, ‘Sleep Well Goodnight’, ‘A Lie’ and have received love from Korea, Japan, and throughout Asia. 

Leader Jinyoung took on the role of producer for the team, and his skills as a ‘Composer-dol’ were recognized. He also showed off his acting skills through dramas like ‘Moonlight Drawn By Clouds’, ‘Warm and Cozy’, and ‘Persevere Goo Hae Ra’. 

Rapper Baro starred in the 2013 tvN drama ‘Reply 1994′ and received spotlight as an ‘actor-dol’, which lead to other projects including ‘God’s Gift-14 days’, ‘Angry Mom’, ‘Manhole’ and other entertainment shows such as ‘Youth Over Flowers’. 

Main vocalist Sandeul whose vocal capabilities were widely recognized was able to release his solo album, and participate in a number of drama OSTs. Meanwhile, Gongchan participated in the web-drama ‘Delicious Love’, and CNU appeared in KBS 2TV sitcom ‘Sent From Heaven’ and OnStyle 'The Body Show 3:My Bodyguard’. 

With their busy individual projects, B1A4 was not able to do anything as a group around their seventh anniversary. In 2009, the Fair Trade Commission created a standard contract period of seven years for entertainers, and many artists' exclusive contracts have largely been set for this seven-year period, leaving the discussion of renewal and transferring from agencies to take place after this period for a large number of artists.

bethe1all4one admins are sadly and unfortunately growing a bit busier and busier as the months go on and the following months (due to work). with b1a4 becoming more active for a hopeful comeback soon (fingers crossed!) it will be harder for us to keep up with all the updates, and we’re already a bit behind as it is due to the hiatus we unexpectedly took. therefore, we have decided to seek a new admin or two to help us out (position: updating admin)! if you’re interested, kindly fill out the following form and submit it to us (link below).

Hello everyone,

I know that it’s been a while since we last posted anything here. I can’t express how sorry I am for not keeping this blog updated. I never intended to let this happen, I volunteered to co-admin this blog back in 2013 and it quickly fell all on me and I never once minded after all these years, I vowed that I’d always try to stay as updated with it as possible for as long as B1A4 remain active and tumblr is still the site that people prefer to see content on. Things have felt incomplete for me since neglecting the blog, it’s always been a big part of my life and a way that I stay caught up with B1A4 (whom are a huge part of my life - but I’m sure that goes without saying for most of us). Me and Roz (translator) both have just gotten so busy over the last couple of years. However, this blog is still something that means so much to us — it’s really like our baby, we often discuss how bad we feel for neglecting it so much. Neither of us want to give it up and are still willing to dedicate some time to it. I can’t promise that I’ll keep it as updated as it once was, but I’m not ready to let go of it just yet. I’ll do my best to keep sns updated and to post fantakens when I’m available to and not working.

We’d also like to extend this post and ask for some assistance if anyone is interested in helping out with the blog. I will get a co-admin application up later today so please feel free to apply if you think you can even put in a few hours a week. We won’t be picky seeing as how we’ve been lacking in keeping the blog updated.

In the meantime, I will do some backtracking and get sns updated for archive sake and see what fantakens I want to start posting. I hope you won’t mind seeing content from months ago that you may have already seen. This blog will always serve as an archive for everyone.

Thank you for understanding and continuing to support us. It means a lot. Once more, I’m sorry for going so long without posting and letting everyone down who relied on this blog. I will work harder to make up for things.
