while my friends went to the library to work on their thesis, i took a day off to enjoy the sun

20.02.22 || Spent the stormy weekend refreshing some Russian before the summer semester begins. Finished reading a book about Solovetsky Islands and started Mayakovsky’s biography.

Today started with many small and happy things, including a gorgeous snowy view out from the window, this must one of the lasts we will get before spring comes in. Productivity wise I am very proud of myself today, it was unusually structured and stable, many tasks got done!

Returned to my dorm yesterday. I just couldn’t concentrate on my paper with my family and friends around. Hopefully I’ll finish it until the deadline.

February 2022 | Prepared a lesson for 12th graders on how to write a speech script. They had to prepare a speech on the topic of the female quota in Germany.

I believe that so far this year I’ve been getting better and I am getting happier I think. life is coming together for me.

Studying from home.

Cloudy day and a very messy work desk. I was going through my favourite collection of poetry book by William Blake, which I have lend to my students to borrow on occasions. I then stumbled upon some hand written notes left there by my students.. how can such a small gesture done years ago means so much to me. It filled my heart with so much joy.

I slept in until 9am today. Had breakfast, set up this asymmetrical plant shelf I ordered online, and cleaned a little. Studied half of genitourinary radiology and now watching an episode of peaky blinders during lunch. I love sundays.
