personally my primary goals when I decorate a space is 1. am I going to feel relaxed and cozy and 2. how do I make this evoke such a specific look tht it looks like a movie set and I think this style reflects that hehe.

a lot of small details look good with this style of room imo, lots of trinkets, little antiques, candles, bowls, shells and crystals, photos on the wall, jewelry, mementos from your love, flower garlands... basically more is more, if it means something to you, or just makes you happy to look at, decorate with it! this style is eclectic. the main idea is to make it look sort of ethereal, keeping a balance between something very lush and cozy, like where a fairy, vampire or mermaid would live, and something girlish. mystical coquette works great with both light and dark colour palettes, but personally I like mixing the two to add some contrast. add warmth with candle light, fairy or flower lights, large floral prints in warm colours, velvet sheets, fuzzy or textured rugs and pillows, frills and other large details, and add some girlish charm with stars + moon decore, heart shaped items, seashells, photos of you and your friends, a vase of flowers, display your lipsticks or perfumes on a cute tray, a bed canopy, jars of crystals or flower petals, stickers or anything glittery, personal details like paying an homage to your star sign or favorite movie r great ones 2! again the whole vibe is sort of eclectic and like a big mix of things so the best way to get that is just by adding a bunch of things you already like together.
