to this day simon lewis is truly a character of all time TO ME. he's a d&d nerd. he's in a shitty garage band that changes their name every week. he's a damsel in distress that gets kidnapped every book. he's a vampire that faints at the sight of needles. he has homoerotic tension with like 3 other male characters. he has a complicated relationship with religion. he manipulated an angel into giving him what he wanted by threatening to annoy the angel for an eternity. he indirectly killed abbadon and lilith and was literally invulnerable and unkillable for two books yet is utterly convinced that he is the most normal and unassuming guy ever. he constantly sacrifices himself because he genuinely believes his life is worth less than everyone else's. he's eternally trapped in the torture labyrinth but stays silly. genuinely who is doing it like him.
