Donāt mind me. Iām just casually popping back in to see who is still around and how active tumblr still is.
Clearly this kid has no clue that Auron is some undead motherfucker that rode a whale into a dream world and back, yet. He probably drinks to cope with the shit heās seen/experienced.

āWeāre stronger in the places that weāve been broken.ā
ā Ernest Hemingway
āIf you keep worrying, you wonāt get anything done except for worry.ā
āI know, Quistis,ā she rested her hands upon her lap, unable to make eye contact with the most recent of her Guardians.
Yuna found Quistis to be so many things that she did not consider herself to be: strong, courageous, and so talented in battle. Her heart ached to mirror its self after such a person, but comfort came in knowing that someone she so admired and cared for had agreed to become her guardian in the first place.
āYou are right, you always are,ā a gentle smile pulled across her face, albeit a mechanical reaction at this point. If she smiled enough, eventually she would feel happy, right?
āThe only thing that matters now is completing the Pilgrimage, I just wish,ā a beat of hesitation choked her slightly as she finally allowed her eyes to meet those of the blonde sitting next to her, āwe had more time.ā

For interactions in which your muses feel like having a deep, terrifying discussion about life.Ā
āI wish I could go back.āĀ āDid your life turn out the way you expected it would?ā āSometimes I think if I just did one thing differently, maybe none of this would have happened.ā āWhat if we ran out of goals? What would we live for after that?ā āI feel like I wasted too much of my time.ā āDo you ever get that feeling like youāve lost something you can never get back, but you donāt know what is was?ā āI find myself missing things that I didnāt truly appreciate when I had them.ā āWhere do you think you would be if we never met?ā āI hate thinking about the past and wondering if I ruined everything.ā āWould you start over if you had the chance?ā āI wish we could slow the whole world down.ā āIf you could take back one mistake, what would it be?ā āIf you didnāt wake up tomorrow, would you be satisfied with today?ā āSometimes my body just doesnāt feel real.ā āIām terrified looking up at the sky. It reminds me of how small I am.ā āI wonder, in the grand scheme of things, if anything we do will make a difference.ā āDo you ever get that feeling that you just donāt matter?ā āSometimes I forget that Iām a person. I just go through the motions.ā āI think what youāve got is calledĀ ādissociationā.āĀ āNothing feels real anymore.ā āDonāt you get anxious when you realize time just keeps going and going?ā āI sort of envy people who donāt get anxiety over just existing.ā āYou never know how much time you have left.ā āJust think about how big the world is. Youāre not even a drop in the bucket, weāre more like molecules in a drop.ā āDo you really think, hundreds of years from now, anything we do will mean a thing?ā āMaybe I need to stop thinking so much and just live.ā āIf you keep worrying, you wonāt get anything done except for worry.ā āMaybe we shouldnāt think so deeply about it. In the end, Iām not sure it matters.ā āWhat do you want to be remembered for?ā āHow long do you think people will still talk about us after weāre gone?ā āI think as long as you lived your life how you feel was right, itās never a waste.ā āDo you think everything happens for a reason?ā āIām not sure if fate is real, or if things just happen because they happen.ā āThereās never enough time. You just have to make use of what you have.ā
PLS DO. I can do these at work because I am a terrible employee RIP

Once, when I was a little girl, my teacher sent me to stay with a friend of his while he was away and busy. I donāt know what it was he did, but he said it was important work and being as young as I was meant I didnāt have a reason to question him. But what I did question was what kind of place he sent me to. After living on a high mountain for so long, the first thing that struck me upon arrival was how heavy the air felt with humidity. I was convinced in some small part he despised me.
Of course, things were actually much kinder than that. The people I stayed with Ā were good folks, and thankfully I met a boy within a few days of arrival, and we became fast friends. His name was Squall. A local boy with short brown hair and bright eyes ā Iād never seen any like his. I mightāve even had a little crush. Squall was a year or two older than me, but that didnāt matter much to us.
Squall was the reason I got up in the morning. Not in a romantic sense, of course, but a very literal one. Sure, my hosts were very hospitable, but they were old and where we were was far removed from any towns or markets bustling with people. They just had no idea how to entertain me, and I think Squall was as much a relief to them as he was to me, taking me off their hands during the days and redirecting my seemingly limitless youthful energy.
The place where my host lived was about a mile out from a place called The Gardens, and it was a mile I walked daily. I would always meet Squall on the path, heading my way. On rare occasions he would already be at my hostsā house when I was leaving. Ā I never saw where he lived. It didnāt matter much to me, though, because the woods were our real home.
The Gardens werenāt really a garden. Not one that was kept up. It looked like part of an abandoned estate overgrown with vines and trees. It wasnāt particularly dense, but it sure seemed to go on forever. Squall showed me a few paths around the gardens, unofficial trails to interesting sites like statues, hollowed-out trees, or even just a place where a funny-looking bush was growing. We told each other stories of our homes, imagining what life would be like if one of us lived where the other did. Whenever we fantasized about having him coming live with me his eyes seemed a little less bright, but being the kid I was I never thought much of it.
While the woods were our home and adventure zone, we still set limits for ourselves. If we went too long without seeing something Squall recognized, we immediately turned around until we were in familiar territory again. He also set boundaries, significant features we shouldnāt go past for one reason or another. And all these years later, all I can remember decades later and the only one I can remember is the row of sheds at the edge of the property, all lined up beside a creek bed that was nearly dried out.
The remains of the sheds and creek werenāt anything to be concerned about. It was just a few bits of wood still vaguely shaped like structures and shallow stream of water that may have come up to my knees. The banks sloped banks on either side that were sheer but not insurmountable. The first time I discovered it, I immediately headed towards the water, just about ready to reach for it when Squall cried out from behind me: āSTOP!ā
In that heartbeat of a moment, all blood rushed from my face as a thick, mud-coated hand wrapped its spindling fingers around my ankle and jerked downward, hard. A blur of colors, all smatterings of brown and green, decaying vegetation and the dank smell of earth that had held moisture for so long ensnared my senses as the mud forced its way up into my nostrils. I couldnāt breathe, couldnāt see; sheer panic rose in my chest as the need to breathe ripped through my lungs. The depths below the surface of what seemed so barren was so much more vast than the eye would have ever let us see at first glance. Still, the hand clamped around my ankle, a slick, stinking vice of knobbled bone and sinew; It was everything I could do to keep my head from spinning at the lack of oxygen.Ā Iām going to die. THUD. Iām going to die. THUD. Iām going to die and no one will ever find me. With a last, chest aching thud, we broke the surface. No, not the surface, the floorĀ of wherever I had been dragged toward the creek bed.Ā

I have 2 drafts
;~; If you want a starter pap the hearto and Iāll get us something going <3
Long story short, i'm feeling kind of weird tonight and writing would definitely help; if you want a starter pap the lil heart below.
chaste desires
brushing away fallen petals,
from my shoulders,
the not-so-delicate surgery, removing shoulder pads like
stale gum underneath a wooden desk
fighting the sharpness of the silhouette.
as if that is enough
to make you want to lay your head there.
cupping cherry blossoms in the pale and wanting palms of my hands,
appreciating them as hour glass.
in chasing time, it has already become lost,
to my racing pulse.
pale pink bud of tongue,
snowy wings of the moth.
letting the four letters of w-a-n-t
be merely implied.
i will stand still, let the tiny feet of insects
brush against my knuckles, my cheeks.
nestle on the tip of my nose.
just so you may see,
how soft I can be.
how gentle, and patient
is my touch.
i could hold your hand
as i would drag my fingers
hesitantly atop the still water
of a freshly drawn bath,
to test the temperature.
Trick or Treat! :3
//Here you go *throws*; enjoy!
