On this day in 1996 Tiny Tim passed away. I was lucky enough to see him with my mom at Spooky World before he died. Even though I had to have been nine or ten at the time, I remember recognizing this song when he played it.

I work at least one full-time job and pay around $100 USD per-month--which is considered a small amount of money, let alone for "good" insurance--to have healthcare so I don't have to pay for necessary procedures a la carte; that's not including deductibles, out-of-pocket caps, and all of the other labyrinth-like bullshit rules/regulations.
It's only one anecdote, but still...
