-eating heart(unwillingly) - animal unknown

-lost my wallet (aka. left it on the train and had the most panic induced 2 hours of my life)

-skipped the planed day to Mount Takao because of said incident. (Needed a day to recover, and did not have the energy to get up super early for a 2/3 hour trip out of the main city) 

-escorted by a train conductor for the whole ride as I hadn’t paid for the full fare

- trouble figuring out the ticket system on the lokal bus/ also any maskin that didn't have an english translation.

- Skipping many places in Kyoto, as you really can’t see the whole city in one day.

However, I also met super friendly people who didn’t mind helping me. Met a friendly ojiisan who I wished I could have a propper conversation with (who also gave me a rock - still need someone to explain that to me). Found said lost wallet - a kind soul had found it and given it to the lost and found, which I managed to get to thanks to the nice ladies behind the help desk that guided me to the right station - cried when I found it and celebrated with pizza and beer. Met a fellow traveller who gave me a tip to go to the Hitachi Seaside park (recommended). Ate super awesome food! (Hooked on Tonkatsu for life!! And don’t ever skip Taiyaki for desserts). Got a small mug as a gift at the Tokyo Skytree Moonin Café. Had grilled meat skewers and sake at a smal pub in Memory Lane. Saw a Geisha out practicing in the streets of Kyoto. Met and got to feed super cute deers in Nara. Overall got to see a beautiful country and amazing places to visit. 

To recap: The best trip of my life, and can’t wait to visit again.
