i think a lot of our generation would be happy if the hayes code was brought back lmaooo. They are so conservative and close minded and don't realize it, cancel culture and things being problematic was initially a good thing but now it just means that anything that's slightly wrong should be banned and if you watch it then you are also a bad person and need to be side eyed. Also, the concept of the creators personal life and beliefs influencing their work has been taken too far like I've seen people think that a characters views in a movie is what the director and actor personally think like what? And dont get me started on how everything needs to be explained in detail and everything needs to be personally relatable to everyone. They are choking on their pearls! And if I discuss this with these people they start acting like they're cops and they are trying to find me guilty of problematic thinking to cancel me in a real life conversation. Sorry for the rant but UGH!
