Can't Go Home || Frances & Benny

  With her balance worsening Frances clutched on to Benny a bit tighter, both using him for support and liking the way if felt to hold him close. At this proximity is was only natural to let her forehead rest againt his as they danced to the radio. It might have seemed like a good idea to look into his eyes, but when she did the passion and desire she found they held caused something inside of her to snap. Her eyes flickered down to his lips just a moment before Frances leaned her face forward and pressed her lips against his. She didn’t even consider that it might lead to something more and how it might affect them once they were more sober was the last thing on her mind. Pulling back slightly Frances didn’t even want to hide the wide genuine smile she wore, but it quickly turned into a smirk as she leaned closer to Benny once more.

When their eyes locked on each other, Benny pressed her closer against him, and without much notice, he felt Frances' lips upon his. Electricity ran through him and he was sure Frances felt it too. For a moment, they both had a wicked grin, both saying 'I want more', and so when Frances leaned in again, Benny wasted no time to kiss her harder and deeper this time. It has been so long since he's had a taste of the girl, but that didn't matter then. Now they were getting the opportunity to screw up for one night, neither thinking of consequences. He grabbed her in a moment  of passion, and they started moving until they reached the couch, where he ended up on top of her. He trailed kisses from her mouth, to her cheek, down her neck. 

In Good Company || Raina & Benny

  Raina hummed along with the music and smiled the whole time he danced with her. The pace of the song changed and she leaned her head against his shoulder. “This is nice, yeah?” She looked up at the boy for reassurance before lowering her head back to its original spot. “This has to be one of my favorite musicals ever.” She started singing the lyrics lowly and wrapped her arms around his neck looking into his eyes. “I’m having a really good time and we’ve only been here for like 20 minutes…Imagine what we’d do with an hour.” Just as the next song started their waiter came to the table and she separated from Benny, but not without a kiss to the cheek. “You’re quite a gentleman.” Raina sat down picking up the cherry that was placed atop her milkshake. “So have you devised that questionnaire?” She bite the cherry and giggled. “You know that whole if you can tie a cherry stem it means you’re a good kisser? I’ve been able to do it since I was like ten, watch.” Placing the stem inside her mouth she maneuvered it around before sticking out her tongue. “Ta-Da!” She outstretched her arms as if she had just performed a trick and laughed in the process. “It’s probably not that great, huh?"

"It sure is" he smiled down at her and heard her sing the song, sweetly. He placed his hands gently on her hips "I've seen the musical about a thousand times thanks to my sister. It's most excellent!" he admitted  looking into her eyes, with a soft smile upon his face. "Just wait and see" he told her. He was having a really good time with her and the babies. She was good company. She seemed happy, optimistic, unafraid to be herself and good around, etc. Why hadn't they talked before? He thought, but couldn't come up with an actual answer. Probably, before Tristan, yes, they would have talked and Benjamin would still be how he is, but he wouldn't understand what Raina was going through with having a baby so young, and so he wouldn't have gotten too close to her for fear of hurting her somehow. But now, he knew exactly how it felt, and he loved having Tristan around, and he loved entertaining kids. He didn't look like the type, but someday, he did want a big family, with less problems than he's had. Again, he felt startled by Raina's kiss upon his cheek, not expecting it. He sat down s they received their orders. "I'm working on it". He was about to eat his own cherry when Raina mentioned the tail about tying the cherry knot. Being the guy that he is, and watching the girl make the knot, he couldn't help but want to kiss her, but he wouldn't unless he was absolutely sure he could. Raina didn't seem to be like the other girls Benny had dated or fucked for that matter. He wasn't looking for a relationship anytime soon, but he wouldn't want to miss his shot anyways, if there ever was. "Looks good" he chuckled and acknowledged.  "I've never tried to make the knot though, now that I think about it."

  Raina was impressed with his maternal instincts, most guys she had met after giving birth would just brush by Rita not caring to give her a second glance but Benny was different much like Mickey. “Oh yes, we can’t forget about the babies and their little bellies.” She playfully tickled Tristan and poked his little cheek. “I still can’t get over how adorable he is.” She watched as the waiter placed down their drinks, placing her straw in it and sipping it before looking up when she heard his question. “Well, you already know I’m obsessed with old Hollywood and I have a daughter…So, you’re gonna have to be more specific.” Raina noticed Benny’s movement and giggled. “You must like Elvis, huh?” She began mocking his popular facial expression and quirked her lip. “Thank you, thank you very much.” The little red head stood up and copied his famous moves before bursting into laughter, she leaned against the table collecting herself. “Don’t leave me hanging Benny, you have to dance with me.” She rolled her eyes and dropped her jaw. “It is like…Law.” She tried her best impression at a valley girl voice before she laughed again. “Seriously, come on.”

"Right. Well, I'll make a mental questionnaire or something" he said before continuing "What can I say? I like my old time rock & roll" he finished and raised and eyebrow in amusement, with a huge grin upon his face he stared at Raina, who was trying to make an Elvis impersonation, between others. He laughed and quickly took her hand, stood up from his seat and twirled her around. "I must say, I've been practicing my dancing skills, so beware" he chuckled as he danced along with her. It appeared to be a 50s radio night at St. Elmo's because as the track changed, he kept recognizing old classics. He even recognized a few from the musical 'Grease', which he's seen a couple of times thanks to his sister. 'Sha-na-na' appeared to be a favorite to this radio night. It was probably someone picking songs on the Jukebox. 'Those Magic Changes' came on and he pulled Raina in, and danced side to side with her. Occasionally gave her a few spins and interchanged a few classic dance moves.

  Opening her mouth to reply Frances found she couldn't find any words so she just smiled at him response. Her arms around his neck just felt right and for once not thinking about the past at all, she just enjoyed the moment and how nice it was to be close to someone. “I believe we have." she agreed, letting herself relax even more. The heat that radiated off their bodies soon became too much for her though, pulling back from Benny she threw her jacket at the couch, not paying it any mind when it missed and fell to the floor. She felt her heeled boots getting harder to  keep her balance in as the new drink hit her blood stream, but she found she didn't want to take them off.

He could tell they were now more relaxed around each other, but it was probably because of all the chemicals running through their veins, not to mention that he still had some other drugs around that he planned on taking later that night.  He also took his leather jacket off, but instead of aiming for the couch, he let it drop on the floor next to Frances'. He was feeling relaxed, but anxious at the same time. He wanted nothing more than to hook-up with Frances then and there, without any worries and/or consequences. Just two teenagers, raging with hormones dying to get a taste with each other. And yet, as much as he wanted to do so, he restrained himself, remembering the fact that Frances was actually very fragile when it came to them. They've only just started to rebuild their friendship and he wasn't ready to fuck it up once more.

  There was no protest when he took her hand, Frances spilled a bit of the highly potent drink as she set it down though. She smiled as she heard the song playing, she couldn’t remember any of the words, but she knew the beat. As she tired to dance the combination of drugs, drinks and Benny leading her caused her to stumble, catching herself by grabbing onto his shoulders. “If we’re not careful I’m going to get hurt." she chuckled, unaware how true her statement is. “Thank you for catching me though." Frances pressed a kiss to his cheek once she was standing upright, still pressed close to him.

Taking advantage of their closeness, he leaned and whispered to her ear "I'll always be there to catch you." He smiled as he heard how the song quickly changed to a slower tempo. He took her hands and draped them around his neck, then, carefully, he placed his hands on her waist, and started moving to the music. "I don't think we've ever danced like this." He really liked how close they were, and he could feel her familiar scent.

  Frances looked up out of the corner of her eye when Benny cleared his throat and if she hadn’t known better she would have thought he was checking her out for a moment there. That just couldn’t be though, he’d been with tons of way better looking girl since they’d split, surely she didn’t catch Benny’s eye like that any more. At one point she had, it seemed like so long ago, when he had been her Benny. She no longer required her worn out mantra to remind herself that was in the past, but something she saw in his “Cheers." Frances took the glass, clinking it with the side of his before downing a large gulp, barley feeling the burn of the strong alcohol. “Carefree." Frances chuckled, wondering if that was even possible.

He took a big gulp of the drink as well, and as he felt the alcohol take over his body, mixing with the effect of weed and all in between, he made his way around the bar, settle his drink, turned the radio up and grabbed Frances by the hand, pulling her from her seat and into the middle of the room. Rock & roll was playing, and adrenalin was pumping. Benjamin wasn't thinking at all about their past, not that he could really think straight anyways, just about the here and now. He saw a beautiful girl before him, an opportunity to bust some drunken dance moves and to flirt. He spun her around, making her fall on his arms, mostly because of the alcohol running in her body.

  Frances chose to ignore the way her skin tingled when he took her hand, or she tried to at least. Sitting down she looked over the drinks trying not to look at the boy behind the bar as she felt the fluttering in her stomach increased. “Anything you’re up to making." Frances shrugged hoping a bit more alcohol would settle her fluttering stomach and help her to relax further. “The stronger the better." she added with a smile before she busied herself with pulling up her thigh high stockings and fiddling with the straps on her boots as she waited for her drink.

"Excellent!" he remarked at the last comment. He really did need a strong drink and he was glad he shared his tastes with Frances. He started mixing and making the drinks, but stopped suddenly as he saw Frances fixing her thigh high stockings. Before anything, he was still a guy, and simple things like that turn him on; now, just mix that with alcohol, weed and Frances, and you have Benjamin Parker running high on hormones. He cleared his throat and finished preparing the drinks before Frances noticed. "Here you go, babe" he said as he passed the drink to her. "Cheers to a carefree night?" 

In Good Company || Raina & Benny

  “You think? Give him a couple of years and we’ll be married.” Raina giggled before leaning slightly over the table to look at Rita. “Oh she’s fine, such a mama’s girl.” Raina batted her eyelashes playfully before plopping down in her seat. She smiled politely at Benny’s co-worker and instantly dove into her menu. Looking up from the page she laughed a little at his cuteness. “M’lady?” She nodded holding back another smile. “I like it.” She skimmed over the page once more before nodding. “I think I want my usual, a burger and milkshake- It’s a classic order.” Closing the menu she looked at Benny. “And for you my good man?” Raina liked that she could be her quirky self around him and it helped that he seemed genuine. He was open about his life and it was in fact very similar to hers. Finally, she found someone who wouldn’t judge her because he knew what it was like.

  I guess so. But I mean, you’d figure since he saw me walk by, hand in hand with different girls he’d understand that not only do I not want his saggy man junk, I don’t want any man junk.

  Learning things the hard way often turns out to be the most effective, in this case it definitely was. I made him sandwiches and everything, how could he betray me like that?

  Zero bull shit. The only downside of holidaying in New York is the crazies. The image of his saggy junk, is burnt into my memory forever.

Ugh, man I feel so sorry for you now. At least now you know you can never trust hobos with long coats or whatever. Lesson learned!
